i just got this gun today and i loaded the mag with bbs and gas, but it wud not shoot. after i messed with it for a little i noticed a silver metal pin that stuck out in the magazine chamber (with the top slide open). i think this pin pushes the button on the mag to release the gas so the gun will shoot, after i push the pin in the gun shot fine, but wen the gun was out of gas the pin stuck out again and i could not shoot the gun. is this normal or is my gun messed up?

hi-capa DOES mean high capacity you retard. reg. gbb mags hold 15-25 rds, a high capa holds around 30-32 rds.

The gun may be very similar to a 1911, but it is in fact a 2011. KJW cloned the Tokyo Marui Hi Capa 5.1. On 1911s, the grip is part of the frame. On 2011s, the frame and the grip are separate parts of the gun. Furthermore, 1911s are single stacked. A high capacity 1911 magazine would only mean a longer single stack. 2011s are double stacked, and the grip is larger to accomodate the larger magazine. Just look up race pistols such as SVIs. Besides, KJW already has a 1911 model, and this isn't it.

By "tactical" they mean it's not a true 1911. It has a mid-frame and detacheable grip. A true 1911 has the frame and grip frame as one piece. This one has a separate mid frame and is double stacked like a 2011. It uses Hi Capa mags for this reason.

I know, I have 2 of these grips, one on an old Kimber build. They ONLY fit on 2011s. A 1911 frame has no room for this, as 1911 grips are two pieces. This is a wide one-piece only suitable for a 2011, AKA Hi-Capa.
