  • I could listen to you talk all day! You sound so fun! :)

  • Great job on content - you know your sewing stuff! Some close ups on the items you're discussing would be great.

  • I like the way you hide your head. I might post a few videos too now that I know the secret to not making yourself known.

  • I have a tagging gun in my basic kit..great for a quick tag together of material before you go in for the final sew...

I bet you never guessed I am a phantom sewing guy

  • I just learned a new trick myself Sewing with Nancy uses glue sticks, I wish I knew that years ago.

  • Because I am exposed to the wardrobe antics on films I see all sorts of quick and nasty fix ups, those department store tagging guns (trick is have both black and white nylon stock for various wardrobe colours) the short ones do the best job to keep clothing under control, so are those nasty iron on quick fix patches.

I better stop before I give any more trade secrets away, and let's not forget gaffer tape, the film industry loves gaffer for anything.

  • OMG, those are great tricks, give away, please do. When it comes to costumes for film it's very easy to fudge like using clips rubber bands, not sewing interfacing in, Mark and I have been useing felt for mustaches lately, lol. So long as it's not a close up or 360 shot general shape and color can work for anything.

  • A zipper foot! I have GOT to get one of those!

  • Good Morning thanks so much for the info. It's so nice to see ya friend.

  • Good to see you too! Have a great day.
