Milestone is multitouch droid is not.

@777YFZ450 Droid is cooler but they have to pay lucasfilm to use the name as they have the license for the name "droid". I guess they wanted to raise awareness of android plus it sounds cooler and fits with their advertising campaign of the red eye robot thing. Since they are not advertsing as much overseas they opted to save the expensive license fees and rename it milestone. Plus it helps to differentiate between the cdma and gsm versions. trek to type....

funny you say that, because nokia is known to be the least reliable phone distributer. haha motorola makes extremely durable phones with good components and great sound quality and signal strength. what people dont understand is it is the operating systems that suck and not the phones. i am on Verizon wireless in the U.S. and i cannot wait to get my droid. and i've been all LG till now. (chocolate, chocolate2, Voyager, enV Touch...)the enV touch just broke, so now im using a chocolate again.

But yeah, motorola makes very durable high quality stuff and android os is the best os available (better than iphone even iphone os4) so droid in my opinion is the best phone you can get. so go droid.

No difference really except Milestone is a GSM phone (Europe) while Droid is CDMA (U.S). Although you would be able to use the Milestone on any of the American GSM carriers like T-mobile or AT&T, while Droid can only be used on Verizon.

Package contents are cool my droid in the US only came with a charger and paperwork, though they did include a 16 gig Sd card. I also thought the milestone was supposed to have silver accents.
