  • First heard at a Northern Soul all nighter then it crossed over to Jazz/Funk scene as the two merged as one ended and the other took over and because of licences laws all dayers sprange up and the rest is history..............good times :-)

  • I'm amazed nobody has never covered this. Great song, would stand up today with a more modern interpretation of the music. Just missed out on the UK top 40, remember it well thanks to the Dave Brown Radio Kent soul show in 1982.

Aggghh!! i miss my early 20s in the early 80s ... they were my dancing in disco's about 3 nights a week times back then, getting home about 2.30am, then up for work (on a week day) at 7am bright and breezy ... LOL couldnt do that now though, am a bit past it now ;)

  • @JOEHAYTER Wow, It seems that you lot were around when I was DJing with all the mentioned legends below, don't forget Chris Hill and Steve Walsh Robbie Vincent. I used to play JFM Radio, Some spots with John Leach on Essex radio Oh and Dave Gregory. I played all the clubs mentioned plus Sweeney"s, Hollywood's, (Done the open night there) Caister soul weekends.

    I am glad that we gave you some good times that have lasted. Oh and its still coming back to me, Epping forest country club.

    I was in the Pink Elephant, Southgate dancing to this.

    Eltons in Tottenham, Dukes in Chelmsford, those were the days, and how I miss them.
