  • Man!!! That's beautiful....Great work...

  • i bet i could really fuck ur day with some matches

  • thats bad ass

  • Very...very cool!!! I'm planning a special Star Trek Bridge and was considering going the paper model route to do this. Really impressed with your Millennium Falcon. Outstanding work. Surprisingly, the paper model shows off the detail even better than the plastic version would (though I guess both works depending how much effort is put into the build). Really excellent in what you've created!!!

  • You are a master modeler and I can't wait to see your new SR-71!

  • Well done man! With this kind of talent as a hobbyist you should use the web to get a team together to make a trilogy of prequels that match your talent. George lucas and his cgi rubbish would be gladly forgotten. BRING BACK REAL MODEL MAKING IN FILM!!

  • AMAZING!!!

  • Fantastic job! I am impressed at the sheer scale of this model, I've just completed a scratchbuilt millennium falcon from card and paper and it is currently framed and hanging in the lounge! You have done an excellent job here and I can appreciate the kind of time and work that goes into these things, well done!

  • that was amazing I'm sure you will have no problem building a plane

the 1/4 bluefoam is strong and flexible In my personal opinion it is better than DEPRON

  • lol imagine trying to insure this.

"Uh hi im looking for some home and contents insurance

"sure sir, what would you like to insure"

"A paper module of the millennium falcon"

    "...."

also if this did get damaged in anyway how would you get a new one!?

its not like an ipod where someone just buys a new one and thats it..

this is a piece of art.. it cant be replaced..

  • I LOVE THIS SOO COOL!! GOOD JOB!!!!

    THAT IS SO COOL!!!

    I LOVE IT!!

IT LOOKS LIKE YOU SPENT QUITE SOME EFFORT ON THIS..

    GOOD JOB BRO..

    YOU JUST GOT A LIKE! :D :D ;D

  • this is AMAZING i would put it on a stand or in your room

  • color it, then sell it!

  • That is simply a tremendous work of art. What a talented artist! Out of curiosity, how do you plan to display this? I imagine that it has some fragility to it, but it would sure look great under a display light, or perhaps on a stand where you could see 360 degrees around it, under and above it and the like. Let me know.

Also, I'll say this sure beats the R2D2 I made out of a trash can. Congratulations on an amazing piece. You deserve it.

  • @cheesystick1 I originally had it hanging from the ceiling in my store. It's actually very strong, the primer and paint seeps into the paper and it literally feels like a plastic model. I only airbrushed the bottom of the falcon to give it some detail. It would have taken another month tp detail the bottom and I didn't want to spend that much more time. Thanks for the kind words Shadow

  • impressive, most impressive...

  • YOU! sir.. are a treu artist ! and a lil crazzy thad you spend so much time for this :P

  • cool

  • I hope you have this baby insured!

  • Very nice! Props for finishing a project you started 6 months ago. I keep a list of all projects I've started but not finished so I don't forget about them. I'll finish my PBF once my Corsair can't be repaired without buying new parts. Perhaps that day is today since I'm going out flying now.

  • THAT IS AWESOME!!

  • Wow... Pique of epic, that is. :D

  • Amazing work! You're very gifted...so glad I stumbled on your vid!

  • i wounder how big the square piece of paper was....

  • @30001Damon It was 2 4' x 6' sheets.It's matt board for framing pictures 3/16 thickness.

  • now that is a thing of beauty........... i build fully sabers[lights, sounds and all] from a store here in the uk and have trouble keeping my hands off them once complete i can imagine your at times worried u would crush it [by accident] love to see a paper made saber of real scale........... i know i would leave that well alone and keep it on one of my saber racks....still amazing work bud!!!

  • Hi. That is awesome !!

  • That's a lot of paper lol

  • 2 people are trekkies....

  • I DON'T GET IT!!! I REALLY DON'T GET IT!!! WHY DO 2 PEOPLE NOT LIKE THIS!!!

  • How much would it take to let me own this?

  • @JaykeisBrutal It's priceless to me. I can't imagine someone paying me enough to make it worth the hours I put into it. Sorry

  • @SHADOW10621 offer to make him one if he supplied the money lol

  • @SHADOW10621 I'm not surprised you wouldn't sell it. Fantastic work and a great tribute to a wonderful ship design. Now, seriously, how much? That's my way of paying the ultimate compliment.

  • You are a genius!

  • Dude , that is the single most coolest thing I've ever seen !!!

  • i m makeing my MILLENIUM FALCON out of card borad

  • @z34gtp9395 Interestingly enough he was here and ate an entire pizza. He tried to tear my arms off because I ordered it with pepperoni. Note to everyone wookies hate pepperoni.

  • Nice!

  • nice i wish you make me one but you would get tired again form all that paper

  • yeahhh esta to wapa la navee felicidades :P

  • Will you continue to paint it ? This is just amazing, but I think the cockpit is not really like in the movie.

  • I am impressed with this video ...

But did you use a model of the internet ?

    Congratulations !

  • @Toumydu54 I used reference photos from the internet and the Star Wars movies and paused them when the falcon was on screen.

  • Does it actually fly?

  • great but to thin

  • @will122391 You are correct the falcon has more of a football shape, this is basically 2 flat cones glued together.

  • STUNNING !!! but redo the cockpit, because it's the focus point and only pice thats out of shape

  • @Rayboss302 You build one better and I'll critique yours.

  • @SHADOW10621 I'm a painter, sorry

  • OMG THATS FUCKING AMAZING! I WANT ONE!

  • lucus neads you on his side, just plain awsum

  • Would suck for a flame make contact to your masterpiece. Awesome job!

  • ive seen better. haha just kiddingg. thats the best thing ive ever seen made out of paper. it looks so real with all the dimensions and the tint-ish color on it. my hats off to you man

  • Just don't lose it in a card game.

  • @GDubSupreme hahaha

  • Impressive?

  • bad-fucking ass.

  • Fastest hunk o' junk in the galaxy!

  • impressive very

  • WOW Great

  • wow thats to cool

  • cool, you are the man!!

  • cool, you are the man!!

  • thats really interesting

  • thats really interesting

  • Amazing!

  • its a kit

  • @Oleilord No it's not.

  • Dude, you are my hero!

  • what did you use for the tubing?

  • @lordnipple The tubing was bristol paper wraped around sets of circles and half circles. Like ribs support your skin. Glue a second layer over the other using standard elmers glue and its strength becomes incredibly rigid. Once it's primed and painted it feels like plastic.

  • excellent !!!

  • that looks a lot like foam-core board, is that what you used aswell as picture mounting cardboard? I have used both and they're remarkably sturdy, this inspired me to want to make something similar!

  • @lordnipple Yes there is foam core in this also. The shape should have been round on the hull but I didn't think i could pull it off. I should have cut 12 individual pie shaped pieces instead of one giant circle.

  • What kind of pathetic loser would give this a thumbs down? Honestly, i've just about given up on the human race :-\

  • that paper looks pretty thick to me

  • @starwarsjunkiie Hi, I suspect the bas of this was made out of foam-core board, it's about 5mm thick but pretty lightweight, on this scale though it's gonna get heavy. it's easy to cut too. I hope this helps...

  • @lordnipple what did you use to cut the foam core i use a box cutter and exacto knife but it dosnt cut in a nice strait lin though what do you use?

  • @starwarsjunkiie I use a snap-off blade, and I use a straight-edge (a metre long piece of metal with a straight lined edge that won't slip when using it) the first cut should be more of a score, nice and shallow (the blade will follow this line, or should providing you're careful) make sure your blade is nice and sharp by snapping off the end, ready for the next section. The second cut should have heavy pressure applied, and please be careful!

  • @lordnipple I used a snap off blade for most of the model. they're cheap and fast to switch out.

  • @starwarsjunkiie A steel straight edge and a utility knife is all you need. Keep the knife verticle and cut just once.

  • @lordnipple Actually you can see all the materials used at the end, and I don't see anything about foam-core...

  • @robbertzzzzz I am pretty sure that it's form core, I work with that material everyday, but yes, I am willing to admit I could be wrong, I guess only the man himself knows.

  • @lordnipple Well, I've never used the stuff, but when i look really carefully, I can't see any foamy things in there...

It's hard to see, but it really looks like some sort of cardboard when you look closely. All the edges were folded in a 90 degrees angle, and that makes it look a bit thicker. But actually light is shining right trough, up front.

I could still be wrong though, because I haven't a slightest clue on what that stuff is xD

  • @robbertzzzzz XD It's about 5mm thick (approx 1/4 inch) and it's the early stages that make me think it was used...especially the support pieces in the early photos. It is a very rigid material, very suitable for the base structure of a project such as this.It is used in the picture framing buisness (amongst a host of others) for re-enforcing stardard card that can warp in the presence of moisture, even atmospheric moisture. My money is on foam core board...but again, I could be wrong.

  • @robbertzzzzz Yep it's foam core sorry I missed it at the end of the video.

  • @robbertzzzzz I missed the foam core but you could use cardboard the large sheets of matt board are expensive so I used something cheap that wouldn't be seen anyway.

  • @starwarsjunkiie It's matt board for the big shapes for strength.

  • Hi. I build paper crafts, but you did an amazing job. GREAT peice of art

  • Really clever ! Good stuff, you must have a lot of patience.

  • thats amazing! but u must ahve alot of spare time if it took u about 6 months lol

  • @IAmTheNathan The same time people use to play xbox 360 or go drinking I think it was worth it because it's one of a kind.

  • @SHADOW10621 Damnnnnnnnn!!! Shadow u are gifted. have u ever considered getting a job at "LucasFilms" or any of the other large hollywood production houses?

  • nice job ! well done

  • bet it cant fly. try lobbing it out your window and see what happens XD

  • holy crab

    (lol 1:59 guitar hero)

  • That is amazing! how long did it take to build

  • Really impressive, congrayulations !

  • fucking amazing

  • thats great work!

  • NICE!!! Great Job!

  • Absolutely AWESOME! well done!

  • cockpit is a little square.

  • NAG NAG NAG! you make one then thats "rounder"!!! ;)

  • was it hard to build it?

  • @Marcaftw No the Falcon is basically a bunch of cone, triangle, and square shapes glued together. This model was made of the same stuff that frames most pictures on your walls cut into those shapes.

  • you are fricken amazing!!!!!!!!!!

  • Absolute genius.

  • LOL Pinball machines and Guitar Hero :)

  • just think, thats the way George Lucas and his buds used to do it--before ruining the movies with digital crap and Jar Jar.

    That thing is sweet!

  • WOW! that's all i have to say I'm speechless i never saw something so detailed made out of paper really outstanding and you got down to the very last detail you must have a lot of patience more patience then i have that's for sure lol

  • @ApesAreNowCallPeople Thanks I did this while I was financing a building I was buying to reileve the stress dealing with the bankers and lawyers. It currently hangs in that buildings storefront window as a way to invite shoppers.

  • @SHADOW10621 shadow, I am here to tell you that you have offically earned your nerd card. It's a very special card that has special priveledges.

    Great job!

  • "cctjr10", you're a complete asshole. In fact, you're more like what comes out of an asshole.

Scott, don't listen to knobs like that. You did an astonishing job, and you should be very, very proud of your work.

Congratulations, and I hope you build many more models! It's a great hobby and well worth the time and patience you have to do such beautiful work!

  • wtf is a knob? Whatever they it doesn't matter because this guy knows it eats paper and shits perfect models. This thing looks great by the way.
