Tested out some of these the other day and was very very disappointing with the quality for the price, they sounded exactly like my $50 cheap headset I used to use for PC use, and they weren't even powered.

I thought of playing Dr. Dre's the Cronic with those Headphones while writting Rhymes but since Guru is dead (1961-2010), I'm a play the whole Moment of Truth Album or Hard To Earn (if I get it) in his honor.
I got mine refurbished from the official monster website they were only $150 and i chose 1 day shipping total came to $168. It was a steal and the headphones look brand new and work GREAT.Just a suggestion if you guys dont wanna pay $300+ for these and you want AUTHENTIC ones.They also come with a 90 limited warranty when you buy them refurbished from the site.
@omegavideos23 The wireless version includes rechargeable batteries, and the Studio version have regular AAA-batteries. But the Solo/Pro version do NOT need batteries to work.
I want to buy them in green! But my mom thinks they're TOO expensive and I don't need them. Oh well.. :) But I have a question! Why is there batteries in the Bats? I mean.. You just use them with the chords in your phone/ipod or whatever right? I don't really understand that.
@DiamondScharijn beats studio are noise cancelling headphones, they block outdoor noise by producing anti-noise signal.hence they will be useful when youre on a plane, lastly they require batteries for activating the noise cancelling. i suggest if you dont travel a lot, look elsewhere for quality headphones. beats by dre are okay, but not worth it

All of them are scientifically proven to sound more accurate than even the best Beats headphone and are actually used by artists around the world.

Its okay you don't like them, but their highs and bass are excellent. Their mids aren't the best. I have other headphones (seinheisser, bose, and audio technica) and I can confidently say that these headphones are easily just as good or better than all of these. Its up to the buyer whether they are worth the price.

They have very very bright, almost to the point of making my ears cringe, highs, and they do not improve over time since the ones I demoed were used for 200+ hours. The mids on these things are the only things that are decent but they get overshadowed by the overbearing bass and the screeching highs. Every other brand delivers higher quality at a lower price (save for Bose maybe).

Burning in headphones changes audio quality because the drivers in the headphones are constantly changing until you hit a sort of plateau. No headphone in the world decreases audio quality. I'd rather have an HD 600 over Beats Pros, and I would also prefer them over M50s. The fact that HD600 and the Beats Pros are in the same price range is just astounding. The HD600 blows the Beats away, and when equalized and amplified properly, can better bass without the shitty muddyness.

The audio quality is great, but these headphones are better than others in the same way that Jordan's are better than 20 dollar Payless Nike's.. They're not just about performance, there is an element of swag involved

@eko6028 Right, but you're forgetting what this is about. It's not about saving money, it's about real quality audio. I'd rather have an HD 600 over Beats Pros, and I would also prefer them over M50s. The fact that HD600 and the Beats Pros are in the same price range is just astounding. The HD600 blows the Beats away, and when equalized and amplified properly, can better bass without the shitty muddyness.

The audio quality is great, but these headphones are better than others in the same way that Jordan's are better than 20 dollar Payless Nike's.. They're not just about performance, there is an element of swag involved

the have a good sound quality yeah,but there is a limit to how good music can sound and these are way overpriced.I think are so overpriced because of the name the look and just a spread of mouth they are turning into a fashion statemnet allmost!i hope they all brake eventually what a waste of money .There are headphones out there that may sound better and are half the price!

i received these headphones as a gift... but im bringing them back now.. for $300 they do not stand up for that price... there is major noise leakage and the quality isnt good... there r sony studio qulaity headphones for half the price that sound and r made better.. these headphones also feel like they r gunna break... come on for $300 ur gunna make them out of plastic???

This is the worst audio review I've ever watched. skipping to the end "You can pick up on things you don't here on in ear headphones." What?! maybe if you're listening to skullcandies, I can here way more than those headphones could ever produce on a pair of HF5s. This guy clearly doesn't know what he's reviewing, on an objective level or on a subjective level. All and all don't get these, their frequency is worse than $1 apple earbuds, get a pair of Beyerdynamics if you wan't bass and isolation
