  • the best rendition i have heard!

  • This is astonishingly good!

  • WHAT SINGING!!!!!!!

  • I'm so glad the Lord saved me so that I can enjoy these videos and feel His presence and also get a glimpse of these great quartets of old.

  • I like this version of "I Wouldn't Take Nothing For My Journey Now, but I still think The Happy Goodman Family are #1 on this Particular SONG !

  • to tonyssongs the person that wrote this was howards brother, Rusty. So yes it was written by the happy goodmans. :)

  • Those guys are fantastic ! i think one of the things that made it so was HOVIE on that pianny that is just too good. The precision and rythem is super nice.

  • Who wrote this? I thought it was written by the Happy Goodmans.

  • Rusty Goodman did write it, But like most gospel song other groups did their own version. And this one is great.

  • Thank God for You Tuibe or we would never see this classic stuff...I am sure more people have seen this great music now than when it aired the first time...it is beyond a shame we have NOTHING like this on tv other than the Gaithers stuff..of which not all is as good as this old time singing...thank you for the glory I am now feeling.

  • its on a video all about the statesmen. I've seen it on TBN. I can't think of he name right this moment.
