  • They are talking about the old mans dick right?

  • "Who is left to say what he really is?"

    "God."

  • @YinYangNature I want you to know I watch these videos for motivation. Thank you for this.

  • @SpideySting That's so great to hear! Thank you.

  • I too want to thank the person who uploaded these videos on the Dao De Jing. I fell in love with Lao Tse and his Dao De jing over 40 years ago. I used to live it but I got away from it. It is both freeing and opens the mind.

  • @almagore1 Thank you! (Alias - YinYangNature)

  • Dude ure awesome for uploading this.

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • Nice.

  • @futboldeargentina Profound wisdom indeed. Thank you for introducing me to Linji!

  • excellent description! Thanks!

  • @sublime361 Thank you so much!

  • My friend, i suggest you to create a playlist "The Tao of Kung Fu". Thank you so much for this teaching's they changed my life 3 years ago and it still keep changing it.

  • @eduinlacreaM I have a playlist for "The Tao of Kung Fu" on my "TaoFAQ" channel.

  • you've done us all a great favor by uploading these. thank you very much.

    peace, love, light.

  • @aarrgghh22222 THANK YOU!

  • You are far more than you know yourself to be

    and hopefully

You will always be a little less than you can be

  • Thanks for posting these.

Every time I watch one, it is the message i needed to hear at that time.

  • If you believe you know someone you are denying yourself true knowledge. A man is a man from one moment to the next, to define a man requires a reference to a moment. It's a passage about judging people and the disservice done to both sides.

  • I find the dark is just as useful as the Light. Dark fears and unpleasant thoughts can force a man to SEE HIMSELF more clearly if he allows

    himself to deconstruct his perceptions

    of who he is.

  • Thank you so much for putting these up. I watched this show when I was little, but was too young to really understand it deeply. I especially love your commentaries.

  • Thank you! You are very welcome!

  • god I miss the old kung fu series. I wish my ex roommate did pawn my collection of season 1-3

  • Change is the only constant

  • he must change...and evolve

  • the truth is change

    everyone in always changing

who you thought you were yeasterday

may not be who you are today

if you have ugly thoughts change them to beautiful ones and be come a better person

  • the truth never changes

It is not the truth when it changes to fit the circumstances that it is in

  • @stonecoldjason i believe you misread/misinterpreted his comment.

  • Tragic lost...David. R.I.P...

  • Phillip Ahn was a very special person...Look for some wonderful interviews with him here on YouTube!

    Grab that pebble now.

  • Great!

  • i loved this show because it made you think and look at things in a different light. i just wish they would have cast bruce lee in the role of cain racism is the worst cancer of the human heart.

  • Of all the videos I find this one most profound. Master Kan asks,at what point in time can a man become fixed or frozen...if he is to live and grow?

How many of us are fixed and frozen in a false reality, unable to see our true self blinded by our egos and false concepts. "Seek and find what is the truth"

  • Im going to find that book at borders when I get a chance. Maybe go to the zen meditation center in Holden to pick it up. This is interesting stuff.

  • Great! I'm glad it's got your interest. Most of this philosophy can be found in a book written 2300 years ago called the "Tao Te Ching".

  • Such true words and from a television program none the less. The actors in this series were first rate, most especially the ones that played the old masters.

  • That is so true! I learn that by myself... I would have liked to saw this video before...

Great video. Kung Fu is just one of my favourite series ever!

  • A fitting video for the current age we live in.

  • Thank you my Mexican friend. I don't speak Spanish at all, but I think I recognise the last 4 words "thanks for the videos!"

    Gracias!

  • Translation: "Another excellent video, and more so the explanation that you have given. I have so often lost patience, that I have given in to jealousy, that I feel alone, but then after seeing each and every one of these videos, it is then that I realize the immense wisdom of the Tao, that I wish to find a place in my country where I may study it more fully. Once more, thank you for these videos!"

Apologies if my translation is a bit lacking.

  • More insightful commentary on an interesting Kung Fu scene, thank you Bobba!

  • Thanks Chris. I often wonder what people would think if they knew my commentaries were actually my meditations. I know that most people believe meditation is sitting like a Buddha, but it's really anytime you lose track of time and self. I meditate by writing, other's meditate by fishing or doing jigsaw puzzles. All that really matters is that we escape our sufferings for a while by becoming an action of Nature.

  • Now we know :-) Thank you for letting us join you in your meditations!

  • Another video... wonderful thanks Bobba.. you have quietly created a good resource here....

I have recently read verse 17 of the Tao, and I think it fits what you are doing/have already done, judging by the comments on all the 23 posted so far.

Thank you to all who have commented for also being part of that resource.

  • Thanks Nik. When I started this project the first thing I wondered is why no one had used this wonderful series to showcase the Taoist philosophy before. I am absolutely delighted at how well my postings have been received.

  • May they well continue.

  • thank you

  • Once again, you've provided excellent commentary to supplement the video clip.

  • Thank you.

  • This is a good one.
