Wow, your racing already,, Awesome! It was April of last year where you posted a vid of your 2nd or 3rd time at WS where you were running like 1:50s. I assume you joined the new racers school and started racing by mid summer this year. Where did you place and what were your laps times at the time you started racing? What was your best finish and lap times by seasons end? What were the lap times of the guys up front? I just wanted to know where I stand if I choose to race next year...
Yep this spring went thru NRS, Did a couple of the new racer races... bad start and got loose on one of the turns so didnt do super great, 12 out of 17. :-/ Have run in the the high 30's, which is a big step from 50's, but need to get into the low 30's to really be competitive. so we'll see ...2011 is a new year. I'm out of the new racer ranks now so this January will be my first time competing against the big boys.
I too pit over by T1 and know what you mean, I have a hard time hearing the announcmentsover the PA and since the antenna got struck by lightning and the radio does not work its even worse. I am # 419 racing a Formula 450 Suzuki single stop by and say hi, usually by the House of Charmin West. Congrats on working your way thru the new racer ranks and good luck this month.

I just found it humorous as I just started racing with WSMC again after 10 years break and the riders meeting is identical other than Jacob heading them up. Pit speed has been an issue since the birth of pits. -

HAHAH!! I try to keep it at an idle, but it's rough! esp cuz i usually pit waaaaay over by turn 1, so when they call Final Call, I have to rush to get over to pre-grid, so its hard to only go 5mph! but I usually try keep it around 10.. haven't gotten "fined" yet! :-)
what # are u at wsmc? I just started earlier this year, went thru new racer school, just finished my 3rd new racer race so can start entering in the other races now!
good recovery in turn 5. Could have been ugly.
