Type in Deviant Art in google search type Daytona USA in the search bar of deviant art and you'll find two 3D models of both the Automatic and Manual transmission Hornet High Class cars both which is a Chevrolet Lumina.

I, like so many others, played this more than any other course, and it was *pure hell* every single time. "Beginner" my flabby *butt*. The traffic alone makes this a constant struggle, never mind the hairpin turn (who the hell puts a hairpin on an oval?), never mind the constant high speed (making all those spinouts and wrecks all the more infuriating). Anyone who can finish 1st on this nightmare rocks hardcore. Period.

This is the original, 94 edition was the common one and introduced multiplayer where the 93 edition is single player only.

If anyone knows how to get this to work in MAME32, I'd gladly appreciate. Maybe I have the wrong version (I have/had the delux cabinent version, the only one I came across) or maybe some files are missing, but I couldn't get mines to run past the initial configurations/test check screen.

@PsiStarstormOmega982 check your system has latest directx packages. Try a fresh install of the Emu also, if files not found, source alternate packages from a diff site.

The rolling start camera in this seems to have been completely forgotten about. It hasn't resurfaced in any sequels, which sucks because it looks way better.

As much as it pains me to say this, the best way to get hold of model 2 roms is torrents, which I hate since they're slowand buggy. But if you want to wait 1hr+ to get to the game, google "daytona usa model 2 rom" or somesuch and find the torrent.

yes... I got mad googleing and then I went to torrent search..found daytona complete working (cool game ...) and I found on torrent also the full nebula set...downloading right now hope it's ok..

Linking capabilities were introduced in V0.7a, keep in mind the '93 version of Daytona doesn't support linked mode.
