Amazing performance! The sounds being invoked from the Theremin are almost human!
Having built a vacuum tube Theremin many years ago, I can attest to how difficult it is to have it create anything musical apart from 50's sci fi sounds!
The Theremin is a much maligned machine and many people only know it from terrible sci-fi sound effects. This is indeed a very good piece - showing just how powerful the device is. I believe Darryl has also been recorded giving basuc training in the use of the Theremin - I found a few vids a while ago. 'Tis a marvel machine and a skilled player for sure.
Many thanks for listening. Having a great accompanist is a must to giving a relaxed performance. BTW, I like your setup and your lead playing has the funk. Brava.

First Vocalise beside Clara's that's evoked such a deep emotional response. Lovely. Very fine accompaniment, too.
