  • for some reason this reminds me of firebenders from the Last Airbender..

  • Polish 'Mazowsze' is better :P

  • look at russia and the surrounding countries (ukraine and polland etc) and they all do these WILD acrobatics in their folklore. look at us balkans (very close to russia) and we're somehow down to stomping and shuffling feet along the ground...why? i want balkan folklore to be cool like russian :-(

  • This is Kuban Cossacks, not Caucasian. And cossacks culture is russian. You confused cossack dance with lezghinka and native costumes are similar. But listen to the music, it's russian.

  • Wow!

  • @iBox87 Kuban cossack are from kuban river land in Russia and no cossack wants to be apart of a western traitours government or nation like ukraine who betray there history and soul. Grandfather looks down at shame on you and your polish wannabe western scum

  • @iBox87 you do not understand my words

  • @iBox87 Your a fool and a traitor i was saying no cossack or kuban wants anything do with westerners wannabe Ukraine's they spit on grandfather graves. Cossacks fight and serve Russia only not westeners.

  • Слушай, "обезьяным", может они так и танцуют, но, в отличие от тебя, хоть не выглядят.

  • i wish i could uder stand russian

  • Because these aren't Russians but Terek Cossacks - that means Cossacks from Chechnya.

They have copied Chechen clothes and partially their style of dancing, too.

  • ty cho s kryshy ruhnul shtoli????? americanskiy petuh gamburskiy!

  • Ok for history lovers. Cherkeska is a traditional clothes of Caucasian nations. But it is also a fact that Kozaks adopted cherkeska from these nations somewhere ago in the history. And now it is a mandatory attribute of Kozak's traditional costume.

  • Kazaki)

  • -- THIS is the real deal ..

  • Awesome.

  • Bardzo fajny klip.

  • Very,very beautiful video-5/5

  • This is Kafkas!!

  • This is russia? In caucasus there are dances a little bit others

  • This is a russian costumes - cherkesky.

  • yes you right''cherkesky'' name is caucassian

    And caucassians are not russian

  • (daglisamil) yesho odin balnoj!!!

  • Those are cossak costumes

  • Cherkessky are caucasian costumes, but the Kuban cossacks adopted them as their uniform. This is where the confusion comes from...

  • interesting!

  • well if u look it yup Russian ppl are technically Caucasian... and those are very Russian costumes

  • WOW!

  • well, on our way in, the sign said it was night of folklore and dance, so that's why i chose to title it that. *shrug*

  • this is a stylised popularised dance with elements of folklore, the music is remixed, the costumes are not exact. there are very many bands like that in russia. people do not know the real folklore. where did you go to see it?

  • we were in st. petersburg. it was in a relatively small theater. the whole production had singing/dancing/band/storytelling (although we couldn't understand the stories, as they were in Russian).

  • maybe that's why it's called folklore "show" and not "reenactment"

  • we were in St. Petersburg

  • где в СПб можно научиться так танцевать?

  • trop court!

    too short!

troppo corto, demasiado corto, te kort, etc..
