Scorpion EXO-Wear Stinger jacket review

I'm 6'3", 230 lbs, and wear a size XL which fits me perfectly even with the Icon protective vest beneath it.

i have a question about the jacket. i live in oregon and it gets cool during the winter as low as 26 F some times, but i really wouldn't be riding in that cool of weather. but during the summer it hits about 80-100, with removing the thermal liner could it keep me cool enough to keep the back and arm pit nice and dry?

Just picked this jacket up at the bike show. Already had a ton of positive comments on it. I like my jackets tight and it fits me perfect in a size M. I'm 5'10" 195lbs athletic build. Great stuff!! Thanks for the review.

Just bought one myself... It's the best looking jacket I have ever seen in the price range in my opinion. It fits well, stretches well in all the areas you need to have it stretch, and the design/embroidery is wicked! I'm 5'10 @ 175 lbs and wear a size L and have wide shoulders. Length is perfect for me.

hey im 6`2" and about 150 lbs (realy tall and realy skinny) so jackets are either too wide or too short for my body shape......... but i REALLY want this jacket and it has to be in the white! im thinking large because i need the lenth but wil it be too loose? could you give me some advise? id realy appreciate it!

The air guard liner is not compatible with this jacket to the best of my knowledge.

Hey great review, I'm looking at getting the tall version of this jacket, do you have any pictures of a tall on? I'm hoping they are just longer in the body not wider since I'm kind of skinny. Thanks!

It looks very perforated but does it offer good protection. I live in southern california which is pretty warm. Which would you recomend for cofortability and protection? The scorpion exo stinger or the Alpinestar MX-1?

The Stinger will be protective and flow more air than the MX-1. I would put the quality of the Scorpion Stinger on par with Alpinestars, That being said Alpinestars is one of my favorite brands.

hey, i was jus on the site, and it says that this jacket has the wind breaker liner, and the heat liner, but u didnt mention both, so jus double checking, this jacket has both? and if so, r both removeable like the hat trick.

im debating between the stinger and the hat trick

and also, is this jacket leather?

The Stinger is a perfed leather jacket. I comes with the thermoliner only, the windproof liner is not included with this jacket. The text description mentions only the thermoliner, the picture shows both as we use this picture to display the various liners and armor used in the Scorpion Jackets. Hopr this helps

That will depend upon the temps outside. Where do you live and what is the lowest temp you will ride in?

It has a full thermo liner and I think it would work well in the temps you are looking for it to. This is a very nice jacket.

What is your chest measurement? I notice that you switch between large and XL.

The large is tighter in the waist than the XL is, personally prefer that look. The large is tighter in the arms and chest which would require some break in. End of the day I would go the large. My chest is about 46.

the black and white stinger is imo one of the best jackets avail. def something I'll pick up. I have 2 scorpion helmets I bought from you guys and if their jackets are anything like their helmets then I'll def own one.

Im 6'3 bout 210. I have long arms and i dont want my wrists to stick out too far. Wondering if an XL would be ok. XXL just sounds way to big for me.
