@0815Accout there's nothing you can do about the black in the middle. the 3840 x 1080 pixels are what you want. you can't do that on a 60 inch DLP which is stuck at 1920 x 1080 so the only way to get all those extra pixels are to use multiple screens. they do sell a triple monitor without the black, but it's over 9000 :P

G27 sucks as it doesn't have a sequential shift option like the G25. There are lots of good wheels out there but I would not touch a G27...I'll stick to my G25.

@misternintendoman better for pc stuff? no. I'm using a similar setup, only partly for gaming, for regular pc stuff having 3 screens works much better than one massive one. there's the resolution difference as well. telly has a max of 1920x1080, triplescreen can do 3840x1024. do the maths.

you will have the same view of side on one screen. You did not have them at first because the other two screens were connected but they were turned off. but if they are not connected you would see everything you see but on a smaller screen. I hate marketers. They F in your brain

Matrox made real water affects with the G400Max and playable at 1024x 768 which is 720P.

But what can you do, Consumer world.

@Dorisequador 1024x768 is not 720p. 1280x720 is. 1024x768 is a pitiful resolution compared to 720p. 1024x768 isn't even widescreen. And as for companies "sharing the wealth", they don't have to. ATI and Nvidia took Matrox's idea and made it better. It's like what Sony did with move.

@Wiifan4life u my freind fail as well ya sure its not "720p" but it technicaly is 720p just missing in 4:3 not wide screen..... it still can play as good a quaility as 720p. and beides i could rly care less because my resolution is 1856x1392 wich is beyond 1080p resolution

@dylbyl1234 u my friend fail at basic calculations. 1024x768 is only 786,432 pixels versus the 921,600 in 720p. 1024x768 is not 720p. What the hell kind of monitor do you have btw? 2560x1600 is the best res monitor u can get. I've never heard of a monitor wth 1856x1392

@cptnck Matrox designed this idea of gaming in triple mode because alot of the game is missing like the left and right side we just see whats in front it was their Idea!

all the companied took their idea and implemented it into their cards..

Alot of companies have stolen Matrox's tech then added it to their card and said ok our cards can do this now and this feature of gameplay or graphics are in the new line of model..

You invent sonething nobody has then ten companies do it at 1/2 cost?
