I own one of these... I eventually changed the pickups to DiMarzio LiquiFire & Crunch Lab and put in a Dimarzio switch to get the inside coil "Petrucci"sound.

I also added a GraphTech Nut, cause I didn't like the way the white nut looked. The new nut was a nice tonal change as well...I'm sold on GraphTech now.

The stock pickups sounded really great, but I could not resist the upgrade, which made a world of difference..

The neck is the biggest difference between the JP50 and the EBMM Petrucci.

I'm highly considering buying one to keep in D Standard/ C Standard, My Ibanez needs a break from always having to have its tuning changed from Standard E.

@hillysats stock pickups are great. Hi output and the neck position can get a little muddy if you use a lot of gain, but overall aggressive sounding pickups.

Hey Pat! Thanks a lot for taking the time to attend my request.

Don't worry about the lightning, I've seen photos taken from outdoors and I love how this finish can change its brightness, very cool.

My vote goes to this one, I like more the glossy stuff, a matter of taste I guess, 'cause the SBK is beautiful too (the black hardware makes me salivate).

Hopefully I'll get it near mid-year, I live in Nicaragua, so I'll have to arrange a trip to the USA.
