I don't really know what their reasoning is for the 21 year old drinking age, but I found out from my civics teacher that if any US state lowers there drinking age under 21 that the government will stop sending money to them to repair roads, or build new ones. So I guess I'm fine with waiting until I'm 21 to legally buy booze.
