  • Ohayou comes from OHAYAI DESU NE, an expression that japanese people used in the past to notice and to praise someone for being awaken so early. With the pass of time, the word was abbreviated and used as a morning greeting. It came firstly from KANSAIBEN. I don't know if people from tokyo know about it, because they're HYOUJYUNGO. :)

    it is used not only to say bad things ,but also for example, to say funny thing to make him/her enjoyable.
