I have had out of body experiences in the past. Matter of fact I just had one 3 days ago.. True story. I know something does exist out there and I also know that there are some special people out there who can make things happen. "summa irru sollere": Meaning- "Keep quiet, dont say a word." As in, dont let your mind wander with extraneous thoughts. Work on getting inner peace and quiet. Then you can accomplish anything.

Baba asks us to chant this at least 108 times a day, then Lord Muruga would come to you, because he is the one who gave this mantra.

You have misunderstood. I am simply stating what is in sastra (scripture). Sastras have stated that the maha mantra is the highest, like wise it has also stated that the brahma gayathri is also universal and great. Lord Krishna states in the gita that he himself is the Omkara and the gayathri mantra. This is not religion, but this is called sanatana dharma. Mantras are all powerful and have forms and each mantra is a deity or personality. Such is the power of mantra.
