I attended Disneyland for the reopening on May 5, 2005. Remember... Dreams Come True was the most amazing firework show ever and still is. I saw Magical: Disney's New Nighttime Spectacular of Magical Celebrations and it was nothing compared to this one here. World of Color and Remember... Dreams Come True are on the same pedistal. Both are awesome shows.

The brought the show back for Disneylands 55th Anniversary. I was there for my B-Day and they had this show instead of Magical so I think they are keeping it the whole year of 2010

As much as I liked Remember Dreams Come True, it was nice to finally get to see a new firework show this past weekend. I absolutely love Magical now. It has become my favorite show just because of it's finale. Remember Dreams ComeTrue focused on it's 50th anniversary and it was still going on until June. That's kind of long. I hope Magical can stay and hopefully Remember Dreams Come True will always live in our hearts as a great and wonderful show. Remember Dreams Come True I will miss you.
It is 8:30 on 6/3/09 (one hour until the "magic" fireworks are shot off) and i bet this will the last comment until the end of this era of fireworks. :(
it may not have been there, but when ever they are forced to cancel the fireworks, they blame it on winds at high altitudes. I am sorry to say but disney was dishonest to you.

You will have to remember this by watching these vids and from your own memories. Disney has stopped doing Remember and will change their fireworks show. I hear that it is mostly due to crowd issues. They should realize that the reason for the crowd was because it was AWESOME. I saw it three or four times and was looking forward to seeing it again in June. Then I found out it will be stopped by then:( Thanks for the post so I can REMEMBER it.
Remember is still going on. It will stop pretty soon, but it's still going now. I believe Magical comes on the 12th, so the last day of Remember will likely be the 11th, until late August.
I'm sure Magical will be great, so don't worry if you don't make it to see Remember. It's sort of like Celebrate replacing PoD. Sad, since PoD was so good, but Celebrate is a ton of fun.
It's interesting and possibly sad how right after the Inner Space guy asks, "Can I possibly survive?" they play audio from Star Tours, which replaced Adventure Through Inner Space.

Ru - I commented before about how I felt(even as an ex-CM) that THIS SHOW was one of the very BEST and highest examples of TRUE and can we say "old" Disney QUALITY (ever since I worked as CM - 25 years ago!).

I love remember dreams come true. plus I know my boo and I will love it.when we go for a whole week spending quality time together at our favorite place.
This is the most breathtaking firework show that I have ever seen, and probably will ever see. I saw this in May 07 and I remember being so utterly amazed, I cried. This show made my day all the better. I remember feeling the heat from the fire and the lasers were a wonder. I returned to Disneyland in Nov 07 and missed the firework show and I regret it. I am going back to DL in June and this is one of the things on my "must-see" list. Thanks RU42, I find myself always watching your videos.
Finally got the chance to see it just a couple of weeks ago, and this is really a show for those that love the park. LOVE that the Electrical Parade is "home" for that few minutes, it shows someone still remembers where it belongs. I agree with you that this is the best fireworks show they have produced.
@Sjsharks2011 Disneyland also lays claim to be the only park Walt Disney ever set foot in. Walt Disney World does not hold that honor. Walt Disney World was started by Walt, but he died before completion and was almost scraped due to his death.

It's a great show. The one thing I don't like is that the beginniong is mostly a copy of "Wishes" at the MK. It just doesn't make sense how the show is about Dreams, but the song is about Wishes.
awe im so sad now.. i worked at disney in the stores in tomorrowland fantasyland and toontown, today was my last day.. the fireworks were always my fav part of the night..
i used to work at disneyland as an outdoor vendor, so i would be the guy selling churros,popcorn,etc., and when i would work the ice cream cart in main st. i would get to watch this show, good job, miss it alot

UM NO! Disneyland is much more significant than WDW it was the original Disney park and the only one that was fully built with him helping! Yes of course there will be a huge WDW 50th but it will NEVER beat Disneyland's!

Actaully, I think this video was created from 5 or 6 different locations. If you want the single best spot to shoot from it would be in the middle of the street, slightly (about 15') to the right of the center of the castle (as you were facing it.) In other words, lightly towards the Tomorrowland entrance direction.
PART 2 - If you can look through the Castle and see Fantasyland, you are too centered - move to the right some more until you cannot see through the Castle. This will place a majority of the fireworks directly over the Castle plus gives you a clear view to shoot around you as well. - -RU

These fireworks have a special place in my heart. This was a big deal after my sister passed away. my whole family minus dad and mom where there, and no one could keep a dry eye! This is Amazing how they coordinate the music, fireworks and the colored lights on the castle!
Best spot is right in front of the Castle area; I like in the middle of the street (if you get too close to the Castle you miss some stuff.) I don't get dead center of the Castle, I go slightly toward the right (towards Tomorrowland.) That position seems to center the fireworks over the Castle better. - - RU
damnit, when i went there 2 weeks ago and they didn't have fireworks! FYI, they only have fireworks on Friday and weekends!! and I went on Monday!!! I flyed all the way there from the east coast!

Just got back from Disney Land! This was what was shown yesterday. It was amazing because the last time I was at Disney Land was twelve years ago!
Such an amazing change with the new park next door and new rides as well as modifications to the originals. With that said, 10 of 10 park for me.

Finally got the chance to see it just a couple of weeks ago, and this is really a show for those that love the park. LOVE that the Electrical Parade is "home" for that few minutes, it shows someone still remembers where it belongs. I agree with you that this is the best fireworks show they have produced.

@Sjsharks2011 Disneyland also lays claim to be the only park Walt Disney ever set foot in. Walt Disney World does not hold that honor. Walt Disney World was started by Walt, but he died before completion and was almost scraped due to his death.

OMG! I don't know if i commented on this one already.. but this is... so.. MAGICAL! and the editing added more to it! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Although i want to see it live, this is already enough for me! Thank you! It is my dream to get there... i've only been to HongKong Disneyland, but their fireworks is awesome too so I really can't compare this and the HK Disney's fireworks... they're both unique. Thank you again! (I saw your post under Electrical Parade) I went to go hit reply and accidentally hit remove. Sorry about that. A RU42 edit takes 4 to 12 complete recordings depending on the complexity of the ride/show. I think I did this one with 6. - - RU

RU42, I agree with you. This IS and was the BEST fireworks show Disney has EVER produced and your edit of it is SUPERB! I have enjoyed MANY of your videos on "many" sites! How long/how many edits does it take to get your finale product? Just wondering. Great, great, GREAT!

It's a great show. The one thing I don't like is that the beginniong is mostly a copy of "Wishes" at the MK. It just doesn't make sense how the show is about Dreams, but the song is about Wishes.

i used to work at disneyland as an outdoor vendor, so i would be the guy selling churros,popcorn,etc., and when i would work the ice cream cart in main st. i would get to watch this show, good job, miss it alot

UM NO! Disneyland is much more significant than WDW it was the original Disney park and the only one that was fully built with him helping! Yes of course there will be a huge WDW 50th but it will NEVER beat Disneyland's!

Actaully, I think this video was created from 5 or 6 different locations. If you want the single best spot to shoot from it would be in the middle of the street, slightly (about 15') to the right of the center of the castle (as you were facing it.) In other words, lightly towards the Tomorrowland entrance direction.

PART 2 - If you can look through the Castle and see Fantasyland, you are too centered - move to the right some more until you cannot see through the Castle. This will place a majority of the fireworks directly over the Castle plus gives you a clear view to shoot around you as well. - -RU

Wow this video is so awesome. It brings back so many childhood memories. Thank you so much for uploading it. I must have watched it about 15 times already. It makes me cry everytime. I guess you can only really be touched by it when you've been there. I have been to this park 6 times and I'm off to Disneyland Paris in 4 weeks for the 8th time! These fireworks have a special place in my heart. This was a big deal after my sister passed away. my whole family minus dad and mom where there, and no one could keep a dry eye! This is Amazing how they coordinate the music, fireworks and the colored lights on the castle!

Best spot is right in front of the Castle area; I like in the middle of the street (if you get too close to the Castle you miss some stuff.) I don't get dead center of the Castle, I go slightly toward the right (towards Tomorrowland.) That position seems to center the fireworks over the Castle better. - - RU
