  • Did you set up the motors with counter rotation? If so, when you look at the plane head on,

which way does the left & right prop turn when both motors are set up for counter rotation?

  • @killifish777 : No, they are not counter rotating. They both rotate counter-clockwise. Thanks ~~Robert.

  • Did you use the stock motors? If so, what size are they? If you upgraded the

motors, what size did you use?

  • @killifish777 : They are the stock motors that came with the plane. I do not know what size they are exactly. But they have plenty of power, no need to upgrade. ~~Robert.

  • Did you use the recommended CG?

  • @DistructiveRC : Keep the battery as far forward as you can. Mine flew Nice. ~~Robert.

  • how much do these cost

  • @rekrek1999 : Check the nitroplanes website for current prices and availability. They go on sale here and there. If you go through my website, I have a coupon code on there too. RCREDBARON.

    ~~Robert.

  • Mine ended up flying great with a 2650mah 3 cell 11.1v Sky Lipo battery. I mounted it about 1 inch back from the front of the battery tray and it works great. No more nose weight was needed.

  • @eclipser2004 : Excellent information! Thanks for sharing!!!

  • mine was so tail heavy I almost lost it on the maiden flight.Never again will I just take to the air straight out of the box always balance your plane first or it could be your last...

  • @mannexx111 That is kinda a given isn't it. I never just take a plane out of the box and fly it. Everything is checked and double checked. I rarely even buy an RTF or ARF. I usually buy a kit and then finish it with what I want in it. But definitely never fly a new plane with out checking the COG & checking forums to see what others are saying about the plane & mods that have been done.

  • cj5 no longer works instead use code pricepickle for a 6% discount or nitro5 for 5%

  • @z32upgrader : You are correct my friend! Thanks for the updated codes!!! Its going to sadly take me a ton of time to update over 300 videos with the new code...Ugh. Thanks again! pricepickle for 6% discount - just checked it, works great!

  • Mine came out quite a bit tail heavy. Had to add a bit of weight to the nose to get it to fly properly.

  • You think this would be a good starter plane to learn on? I've had one plane before, a home built frog type made with home depo wall insulation, it was very easy to fly but it's stuck in a tree atm lol.... Looking for another easy plane to fly and just trying to get some ideas.

  • @TheAmericanUhate NO Not a good starter plane.

  • @tenrazo215 : Great Question. To Sync the motors together this is the procedure, if it doesnt work, then you might have a bad motor or ESC.... Turn on Transmitter FIRST. Push Throttle to FULL. Plug in Airplane. Once you hear 3 tones, move Throttle back to LOW. 2 more Tones. The ESC's should now be synced together.

  • dude it looks crap without the stickers !

  • Did you finish painting your plane yet?

  • is it a thrust vectoring type control?

  • @GrizzlyGunsmith99 : No its not. It has full Elevator and Aileron Control along with Rudder control. Its an actual 4 channel RC plane. thanks for the question!

  • rcredbaron

What color paint did you use?

  • @GayJewSkinHead : Im using Olive Drab Green. Its giving it just the right color I think. Still painting it though. taking my time. Thanks for viewing and commenting!

  • I have this plane I reinforced it with a lot of tape do you think that will effect the flight....I have some videos on my page check it out.

  • whats bigger 2.4Ghz Remote Control or 72Mhz Remote Control?

  • @MultiCountdown : They are roughly the same in size, however, 2.4Ghz radios have no long antenna to extend out. You also don't have to worry about other people's radios and flying on the same channel when you use a 2.4ghz radio. Thanks for the question.

  • good stuff keep'm com'n

  • where do you put the mini camcorder on the plane.

  • what kind of flite time

  • @joparsons20 : I could stretch it out to 10 minutes if I really tried, but 5 to 6 minutes is your average time.

  • very good review, saw the build vid too, thx for sharing.

  • my maiden flight I found it was so tail heavy it was almost unflyable I had to add serious counterweights the the front end.......................

  • @mannexx111 : did you get the flight on video?

  • i am new to this do u have any suggestions on what begginer plane i could get

  • @mariamad90 : I have a whole section on my website dedicated to trying to answer this question. Check out RCRedBaron(.)com Links to my site are also on my tube channel.

  • @mariamad90 super cub by hobbyzone

  • scale like flying thats what i like - bet all passengers fell out there seats ahahahah

  • @stevecoterell9 : Thats why theres seatbelts! If they are out of their seat while I'm flying, they deserve to flop around...LOL.

  • @stevecoterell9 Had a flight to Turkey like that hahaha must have been a woman pilot as we were only going forwards..

  • To slow down hey just reduce the finger on the throttle stick !! simples

  • I was really surprised at the speed. Would putting 3 bladed props slow her down perhaps? Personally I like it low and slow. It appears to handle very well of course it's obvious you have skills. Can't wait to see it painted. Thanks for sharing!

  • @vistastang : You can put 3 bladed props on it. Reduce the diameter of the 2bladed props by 1". Keep same pitch. As far as speed, it will fly fairly slow, but you have to watch the tip stall speed. Thanks for commenting and watching!

  • GREAT flying sir! Thanks for the vid. I have been thinking about a multi engine electic, and I love the DC-3 ... might have to find this one somewhere. Again, tks for the video.

  • Hey now all you have to do is build a CG-4 to tow!

  • Nice flyin! Stable flier...nice designed plane!

  • Nice job on the maiden. Low-level inverted pass on a maiden flight is ballsy, indeed! I don't think tailwheel steering will do much for you on takeoffs, since the tail comes up right away. But it would help for taxi-back after landings.

RCRedBaron, I invite you, (or anyone else into this plane) to join our RCgroups(dot)com discussion about it. Look for the thread, "Dynam Skybus DC-3." My nick in there is "BladeHead."

  • good plane and skills-- do you think fixing the tail wheel is better then free-wheel?

  • you got a good point when it comes to a plain plane lol. It could be a scale paint or a fantasy paint job like the RED BULL extras lol. Thumbs up man great flight to

  • Looks like she flys good now all you have to do is paint here D-day colors....Sweet,,,
