i think this song was sampled granulized, meaning the original acapella was at much slower bpm. This is around 140. Fast beat with the slower acapella will sound offbeat in about 2-3 measures. (unless you make the original artists re-record the song with the new tempo)

Maybe a house or lounge-like mix would suffice ur taste

The remix beat is a little too fast for the original song, or at least for the chorus. Though, the remix is something new, and it does bring out a different idea and effects. Good job, though, with the remix.

Hey thanks for the input everyone. I'd just like to add that technically, the beat does match with the words. Don't make that argument. We made sure Sam Ok-ed the version before we published, so yea..we were just to take electronica into different genres.
