The game was canceled because of the negative feedback it got from players. Capcom doesn't have the same staff behind Street Fighter 2 now, so it is difficult for them to try a new fighter unless they rehash their previous games.

D.D. didn't really have many moves. a Rekka-like move, and some other stuff but he was in no way similar to Viper at all (or rather Viper wasn't similar to him).

In my opinion this game had potential and it certainly looks better than SFEX3. Rival schools 2 was a VERY good game, hence why I feel this game would have been as well. The gameplay may have been dusty, but the game would have at least kept gamers pacified until SF4 which thankfully is now confirmed after many many years!
Is that Strider Hiryu with his original costume AND regular Costume?!
