These tutorials are so well done thank you so much! I'm still a beginner and I was wondering if you could please make a beginner tutorial to orient the newbies? Once again, great job and thanks!
Hey there. The layout I'm using is the default Blender layout, so you should have it. Double check to make sure you're in object mode, then go all the way over to the particles tab- it might be hidden so expand your window a bit- it should be there. Then add the particle system. Thanks!
great tutorial on hair particles :-). had a question. how do hair particles work with armatures? i came across this challenge after i did a self cgi model. after i added the armature to the model, i moved the model around in pose mode but the hair didn't move with the model mesh. it just stayed stationary
Hi there! Sorry for the late response, and sorry again if you've already found your answer. Particle systems such as hair will move in your animation with the help of hair physics- you have to go and adjust a few things in the physics stats of the system, such as gravity, etc. You can also use wind to blow the hair from a certain direction, also found in physics.
@ktbug10585 hey, better late than never. lol. yes, i found the answer which is to actually generate the hair after the armature is applied. thanks again for the response. really appreciate it.

@Jay79504 i figured out my previous problem. My next issue is, im trying to upload my sculpt onto a 3d world called Secondlife. I cant figure out how to save my project as a jpeg file. What should i do?
Are you trying to save a jpeg of your project in Blender? If so, go to the render panel and select JPEG as the output mode. Also, I was taking the class at my college, georgia state university.
I didn't have much luck with the shrinking or cutting hairs off the areas you don't want hair, shrinking worked a bit better but using the weight paint tool was much easier and I didn't have all these stray hairs all over. I know that would have been a bit much to put into one tutorial though.
No problem! A lot of things are different in this version. Luckily I'm taking a class on it, so it makes it a bit easier for me. I should be making more tutorials soon as well.
GOD brought me here. I NNNEEEEEEEEDDDED This video so badly Thank you so much for uploading. :)
