The idea that the elected leadership will make the difficult choices has about as much currency as the current dollar. I think there's a better chance to win a state lottery. I still think it's worth it for Peter to go to the Senate and introduce a voice of reason along with Ron Paul's but I have no hope that elected officials will behave responsibly.
