No disrespect to anyone.... but bring back Sandy & Sparky etc from Mr M's in the late 70's....no one today comes close to those guys:))

Plus if you were fortunate to see Vernon from Bradford spin at his peak you saw something extra special...not even the great MJ could compete with his best spins when he got it right.....seriously!

Backdrop etc ain't dancin, Back in the early 70's this kind of dancing was not popular in Northern Soul clubs although some people did it. It is always out of sequence with every track that's played.

but how could it have been 'stolen'? How do you think kids in New York in the early 70's would know about the Northern Soul scene? Break dancing was being devolved there around a similar time to the scene over here.

I think the style came from Jazz originally
