Cruise and Diaz definitely felt uneasy and uncomfortable, and they probably knew that to before coming on the show. This is the price they paid for Japanese box office, plus Cruise and Diaz came on the show willingly as part of their promotion. It's not the hosts fault that their foreign guests don't speak Japanese. It's like watching Jackie Chan on Letterman, only Jackie is more comfortable with his English.
