@parsonsfra no they dont, the oil get right on the piston, giving it more oil, this bike blew up from factory issues, piston fucking up the head, a 2 stroke would not have blown it, if it blows up it would be because the rider is not properly mixing fuel and oil, or not maintaing their bike, like running old pistons

my friend got a 2012 kx250f fi bike did the exact same thing.. In the right now to determine if kawasaki is going to cover the bike... in my opion they should they tried to build the new bikes with cheaper made material trying to make it light and this is the end result.

But i think it may be an oiling issue.... lack of oil, that is. Causing the big end bearing and con rod to over heat and fail.

@marek0086 Unlikely since the video description tells what the problem was. A lack of oil would more than likely result in seizure rather than the engine spilling its guts. This is not Kawasaki's first piston issue. A few years back, there piston had a problem breaking in half.
