the program itself isn't that good, but it's really good at slowing down your computer by taking processing memories :) . Plus it takes a looooooonnnnnnnnngggggggggggg time to uninstall

@elvvj89 Then you need a better computer. I installed Maker MX and Studio MX in about 1/2 hour flat and have no problems whatsoever.

These programs use the CPU and system memory, not the graphics card. Unlike what's shown in the video, very laptops will have the horsepower to run this kind of CPU intensive program without slowing down.

Are you planning to add some features to MIDI editor? It's really weak compared to the one in FL for example. Other then that – nice software.

@kamakazy122 I recently bought this product, and although it IS pretty easy to use, I've only come across ONE tutorial, and that's just to get you started... Everything else you pretty much have to learn on your own...

MAGIX Music Maker 12 Deluxe was the best ever in my opinion. I bought it when it came out and worked with it for years. In these days I got a new PC with Windows 7 and because of the digital signature I cannot use it anymore. I looked to the latest 3 MAGIX products (16-18) and discovered how many features got removed or simply decreased in comfort and speed. The fact there is no patch for using the 12th with Windows 7 is a huge let down. 16 is semi-good, 17 is just terrible. 18 not sure...

@MarkusStormXXV I think you are confusing versions (cheaper versus Deluxe which is now Premium), anyhow, Microsoft released an update in 2010 called kb976264 that fixed compatibility issues for a number of Magix applications including releases as old as MM2000, (V12 is MM2006 BTW), a number of people are running v12 Deluxe under W7 and vista.

@reiknir I didn't know about the update, thanks for the info. About the versions, I wasn't confusing anything. I installed anyway the number 14 two weeks ago which works just fine and is the most perfect MAGIX I found so far, as it follows 12 and has some improves, too. I confirm my statement about how the new ones are just badly done with the interface in my opinion. Since number 15 is a mess.

I bought magix 12 and 15. And added loops from 13 16 17 18 and mx. I made a lot of tracks with my arrangments and mixed added fxs. Added a bit of my own stuff like my guitar. Am I allowed to copy write it as my own song make a music vid and sell it on itunes aka commercial use????plz someone give me valid info thank you.

hey, i bought the magix music maker mx premium with keyboard. but it seems like the keyboard is not responding when i press the keys. I noticed that other people seem to have this problem too. how can i fix this?

Thank you for the tutorial Do you know if these sound loops are copyrighted. I sometimes use magix movie edit pro plus 17's soundtrack maker and there are times when youtube flag them as being claimed by some 'entities'. And then puts an add in front of the video.

@g1cast Hello, with the purchase of MAGIX Music Maker MX you have the right to use the music, you created with it, non-commercially. If you only want to use the music for YouTube videos, you are allowed to do so. In case you want to sell your music, you will have to buy the Audio Pro license on Catooh.

hey great job on the video!!!, recording live from a usb causes delay so now the vocals or guitar or keyboard is out of sync with the music. are you able to adress this problem?? i am trying to figure it out but have failed so far
