When I first saw Gilgamesh transform, I was like "Oh shit 0.0"...Then I realized I could still kick his arse XD...He still looks awesome to me, even if he's not 3-D.

That reminds me: Does anyone know why in FFXII he only has six arms in his "true" form rather than his usual eight? Did he lose a pair in a previous battle or something? 0.o

I think thats how it is with his arms. Because if you notice in FF8 when you summon him that 2 of his arms are cardboard xD

Then I saw him fight and was like "Wow, glad he's on my side for this round 0.0;"...Poor guy probably can't choose how many arms he has or what they'll be made from, I feel bad now for laughing at him :(...Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you get stuck in the Void and have to use an unstable Dimensional Rift whenever you want to play with the cute little humans o.0.

I'm guessing he didn't survive his heroic sacrifice, and ended up converting into a summoned creature (like phoenix or syldra). That had some... odd effects on his appearance.

Literalist: Hmm, didn't think of it like that. If he doesn't really have a physical form anymore, I guess he WOULD have to be at the mercy of the power of the person who owns his soul at the time. Also, in FF11 (I think), in his disguise as a human, he looks like his left eye's missing. I also noticed in FF8 that he always picks the random sword that fell to his left. Guess he lost total sight in that eye when he converted, as you put it....I love him no matter what anyway! (O.O' Not like that!)

Well, I imagine he'd retain free will during the time he wasn't contracted to a summoner. Ramuh could keep hanging around and acting independently in FFVI...

Well, at least there's the handwave that he can shapeshift. Growing six more arms implies some sort of ability along those lines. Why he changes appearance? Maybe to avoid the hordes of people trying to get their weapons back?

He's self admittedly a pretty awful treasure hunter. But I suppose you don't have to be the first person to find a treasure, just the last one.

You bring up a good point there (We find out that little fact at the end of FF 12...It's kinda cute when he skitters off with his newest shiny XD)... Poor fella tries so hard to make himself into being the most infamous creature out there, but his heart's just too soft...It's okay, that's what makes him that much more likable to me! :D

Man, why ¨To the N-zone with you!¨? Gilgamesh was so cool... Anyways i won the game defeating everyone except for Shinryu and Omega. I found Gilgamesh later in the game. He saved me!

When Gilgamesh used Excalipur on me, he made 16 points o´ damage. He dies... like the old man, Galuf...

About the ps3... I wonder if Valkyrie profile 3: Hrist will be for PS2 or 3 as well...?

Best FF music evar. I use Krile as a white mage, too (and Galuf was my white mage as well).

And that's awesome about the PS3. I want one, but I really don't want that many games for it either. I want MGS4 though! I also want Bionic Commando when it comes out. You should get Mega Man 9 :D I have it on 360... so great :)
