Nice work. If there was one thing I'd comment on it's that the saturation on the blood hits seem a bit too high, making them stand out a bit more as special effects but I look forward to more!

I like your movies, but I was curious can't you use fake bullets instead of special effects to make it even look more realistic. Or is that too expensive (or do you prefer special effects above fake bullets)?

@onee Hey thanks! VFX muzzle flashes are a lot safer and int the long run, less expensive than using blanks. In order to use blanks, we would need a Permit/Insurance and Pyrotechnician on set in addition to an armorer for real guns to stay safe and legal. Also, pretty mug every hollywod production even when using blanks adds to the flash digitally to enhance it. Muzzle flashes in real life aren't that bright, especially in day. In the future, perhaps, but for this budget VFX are the way to go.

Relatively nice visuals. But.. the gun sounds.. sorry, but they really sucks... The sound of a real gun firing, is actually an explosion. In your case, it should be much louder and more spontaneous, but that's just my opinion. But overall, I did like the movie!

Quick Question: Are u using gas airsoft for the prop guns? and great work by the way, sounds/effects are integrate extremely well, about how long did it take for you to film/edit this?

@wayfastwhitey524 Thanks man! None of these were gas airsoft guns or had blow back, we added that in post. We spent about 6 hours on set filming, and then a hair over 40 hours in post tweaking away at it.

@zikkonn Hey man, I've yet to find really good sound effects to download. You generally need to record them, and buy libraries for the rest. For the time slowing down, we played a basic swoosh sound backwards and ended all ambiance while it was slow, then normal swoosh and re introduce ambiance for real time.

I have always been curious....how do you slow down the video where you give it that cool effect then speed it back up, and sometimes it seems as if you speed it up past normal frame rate then decrease it back down. however, i like the effect and was looking to incorporate it myself but am currently puzzled.

@dynasty321 Thanks so much! On this one we used a Canon 7D with a Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens. The lens was a bit too tight haha, we're releasing a new one around Friday using a 28mm f/1.8 lens on the main camera, then a 50mm on the second. The wider angles work a lot better for this type of thing!

You need better gun sounds but they're hard to come by. I've looked for ages and couldn't find free ones. This entire scene was great though! Especially the gun flashes in the glasses. Cool effect.

@ThermalHD A little tip for gun sounds. Try fpsbanana, and download some fan made CS:S (counter strike: source) sound effects. I've used some in the past when working on half-life 2 mods, but now I dig them up again for films. You'd have to ask the creator if it's ok to use them. There's a huge variety.
