I used to live down in Houma for about 11 years and we would catch the parades there every year. We moved after those 2 bullying chicks came & wrecked the place, but I sure do miss my friends and the FOOD! Wish I was down there today. :(

Had one guy who calls himself FatsDominoFan and another who named himself after one of our obscure record labels from down here. I always tell people the importance Europeans have played in keeping New Orleans music and American blues alive. I'm always thankful for you guys loving our music and by the way; I went on that "boat ride" with you on your channel. I must say I am jealous. Very cool!!!!

Night before Mardi Gras and the Bacchus parade on Sunday Night. Monday before Mardi Gras the crowds leave Bourbon St. and head for Zulu's Lundi Gras Festival for the day around the Riverfront and Canal St. The day concludes with 3 parades. Then you go back to Bourbon St. and prepare for Mardi Gras. Hope you have a great and safe visit. Who Dat!!!
