@MrPiccolop Al Jazeera clearly in Arab propaganda. In most Arab countries there are severe punishments- including death - for siding with Jews and Israel. Their propaganda is shameless demonization whereas in Israel they have always prided themselves in their tolerance and even promotion of divergent opinions - and I commonly see evidence that that is truly the case.

The real terror is the destructive power of modern technology and missles as delivery vehicles make security walls a completely rediculous investment. And if you can't be honest about the real causes, or original position of a situation then it cannot be sustained so to me the wall will crumble like the Berlin wall, it is an 'ideological' wall not just a 'fence'.

@MrPiccolop Well statistics prove you wrong. Based on pre-wall statistics, the post-wall statistics show a 98% decline in terrorist acts. Walls are successful at keeping criminals penned up, keeping animals from roaming, and are a lot more humane than extermination as a means of ridding oneself of those who repeatedly seek to kill you.

@JerrySPsy Statistics tell only a limited scope of the story. Has the wall reduced enmity? No. Has the wall stopped random and sporadic attacks? Yes. What does this tell you? It tells me that its a quick-fix which elucidates the underying nature of intentions. Of course it's a difficult situation but are Hezbollahs missiles inhibited by the wall. The immediate threat may have decreased but has the proximity 'problem' been resolved? No. Because it cannot be due to irreconcilable differences.

And Israel's Iron Dome will soon inhibit Hebollah's missiles as they now do with the missles of Hamas. I'd rather see a quick fix than no fix at all because to do nothing imperils the lves of innocent Israeli citizens. Sorry if it created enmity but you reap what you sow and there are consequences to acts of aggression. I do agree that there are irreconcilable differences.
