I love this phone. I got it on ebay for 115 bucks. It froze when I would use the music player at first but right now its just fine.

You can look certain applications which I like. If someone gets a hold of your phone they cant get into my text messages and be nosey.

This phone is a trooper. Ive dropped it numerous times on the concrete round, in my house, spilled water and root beer on it and it still works just fine.

I recomend buying a screen protector and case from ebay though. :)

@sean1256 i paid $150.00 for mine because i bought it with an upgrade when they first came out. i also purchased insurance for around six dollars a month. well, about five months later, it just cut off on me and hasnt turned back on since. i tried to get a new one using my insurance, but they told me that the deductable for the insurance was gonna be $130.00. once again, i got fucked in the ass by tmobile. fuck tmobile and their shitty service. im switching to verizon.

@fuckinbitches247 Damn dude that sucks. I had the Behold and thought it was decent. Then I tried my friends iPhone out. I immediately sold the Behold for $200, used that money to get out of the contract with T-Mob and snagged a iPhone 3G.  Now I have the iPhone 4 and love it. If AT&T is good in your area you might wanna think about getting one. If not, the Samsung Captivate/Vibrant is sick too.

youdontknowme; You can change the background, you cannot change the wallpaper. Like when its on hold, you can't change the backgrounds, they automatically switch between about 10. Its really gayy but yeah i learned to deal with it.

I'd get the Samsung, the Sidekick is a bit of an "odd" phone. Of course, it depends on what you'll be doing, if you plan on texting or chatting/posting more than calling, the Sidekick is a better choice, and vice versa.

It's quite good, but probably not as good as the Sidekick just because there is probably less fumbling around to send a message and the physical keyboard. The Behold has both a landscape QWERTY touch keyboard and a T9-style portrait version if you prefer the traditional cell phone texting, so it would probably work quite well. The Sidekick is more of a texting machine, the cell phone functionality on it is a bit strange as you have to hold it with the display flipped during a call.

you stated that the battery life is good, and thats always a great thing to have. but in the case that i use this phone as my full time MP3 player as well, how well does the batter last then? i'd say i would use the MP3 feature about 2 hours a day, would the life be enough to do that, AND make calls and text AND let me use the 3G features?

another question is, SINCE i want a phone that would satisfy my MP3 playing needs, i would also need a memory card to hold my music. are 16g cards compatible?

Try making a call, then try to touch it, and u ll see the screen automatically turns off

:) Both phones are really good, but for a reg. person i see that blackberry as too much. The behold is good but it has some drawbacks like a crappy internet browser.
