I don't think you have to go through all that anymore. Chrome released an update for built-in themes/extensions support.

BTW, make sure you have hidden files/folders enabled.

To get to Application Data on any Windows system, just go to Start>Run, then type in %AppData% (yes, that capitalization and percent signs.)

Back up the dll by making a copy of it.

No, I use Windows XP.. It's just that I can't afford a MAC... But Here's the deal, I like MAC but I like how Windows looks (With the task bar, etc.) so if I did get a MAC, I'd just make it look like Windows and I'd be ok.

lol that's the ususal complaint about MAC's but my advice to you is to get a 64-bit edition of Windows Vista and at least 4 GB RAM on your computer, that's what i'm using and it runs really really smoothly even though it's a hassel with some programs and the whole 64-bit system I really don't mind because of how well it works so try getting that I didn't regret tossing out my old computer

Google Chrome actually works really good.. But some of you are so sucked into other browsers you don't notice the difference due to the fact that your not used to it, and you don't give it enough trial time. You should really get to know a browser more before criticizing it. Just because Firefox has been around longer doesn't mean it's any better or worse.
