  • Thats red supergiants for ya :P

  • PLEASE IVE SHAT HARDER THAN THIS

  • That's one small step for man...one gaint explosion observed by mankind...

  • In the future we'll be dropping super novas on other earths instead of dropping nukes on continents :P

  • fake. it looks like it was made with particle illusion. i'd recognize that shock wave anywhere.

  • you guys are fucking retarded if you think this is real.

  • @x3triLogyx3 its real cause its on the internet :)

  • The reason it doesn't make a sound is because sound doesn't travel through a vacuum. You'd probably get some pretty interesting sounds if you converted the waves of energy from the explosion in to a synthesizer.

  • I have seen a super nova when i was id sa six years old me and my dad went camping. it saw diffirent too this tho how can i explain it was all purplish static like hard to explain im not sure if it was but it got me damned havent seen 1 since

  • @millsy2625 You know one of the most famous supernova hunters, Robert Evans spent years without being able to see one, sometimes he discovered one every 3 years, he found 3 once in less than 15 days. But randomly spotting one without a telescope is very rare. Consider yourself lucky.

  • @millsy2625 use commas so your sentences are easier to understand not confusing people like a 6 year old and can't speak

  • @PickMyLenis Sorry :) I was very Fucking tired that night aye. haha

  • can any1 confirm this is real?

  • @MrSmokeyFilms that not all true, the sun will effectively get bigger but he will get little to become a white dwarf !

  • That's not real is it?

  • how can we see this explosion if it takes millions of years for light to reach us

  • @doublephantom2 Because the light still does reach us, it's just that what see we occured millions of years ago.

  • It does take millions of years to reach us, but it's also coming steadilly, so we could actually view it "as it was happening" in our frame of reference.

  • I'm pretty sure if you were any where near that when it happened it would be so loud your fucking head would explode.

  • @Kr0n1k4Lyfe There is no sound is space...lol. I like how we will never see a star form, but they explode an awful lot, yet the earth is billions and billions of years old. Bullcrap.

  • @450henderson It's harder to see something occurring in the middle of a dense region of gases. Why is the age of the Earth "bullcrap"?

  • In like 10M years a supernova will blow of the map... heard it on the news

  • funny enough it wont make a sound at all when it explodes

  • @tupacsomething69 its a satalite you idiot and from this distance there wouldnt be idiot. just for fun idiot.

  • @pplinmypocket wow im amazed by your stupidity....what SATELLITE im talking about a supernova in space, there would be no sound because sound waves need a medium to travel through......dumbshit

  • makes nukes look like little bitches with a pacafier.

  • @TheStoryWeLive You don't need a supernova to make nukes look like an ant sting. Just walk around in the desert one day and you'll feel the energy the sun is outputting every second. And then to realise most of the Sun’s light is radiated in a direction that does not send it to Earth.

Only 0.000000724654% of it reaches the Earth. That’s 7.24654 billionths of the Sun’s total light.

Imagine us receiving 100% of the suns light for one single second.

  • @TheStoryWeLive In fact, you'd say that nobody should be afraid that we ever run out of fuel. If we ever manage to make some sort of satelite (system) which we can bring into orbit of the sun to collect some of it's energy and then release it upon a collector on the earth, after such a breakthrough pumping up fuel is only a waste of energy.

Man that thing outputs alot of energy. you could drive a ferrari at top speed for 44.164.582.319.204 years on 1 second of all the sunlight.

  • @TheStoryWeLive And that calculation is with an older model, namely the testarossa. Which is highly inefficient ;). and ALOOOOT more inefficient then electrical engines.

  • @bonkadventure2 Wow, YOUR on the dumb side. Not every star makes a supernova, ours will definitely not it is far too small a star to do that, and we have 7-10 BILLION years before our sun runs out of juice its about halfway through its life.

  • CHUCK NORRISED

  • The EXECT reason those things happen is because of a person.every million years theres a person who is born a star.its true!!!for instence, that was chucknorris.LOL

  • its said that when a supernova happens you dont hear anything at all. no boom just pure silence. so cool

  • @ILY924 air particles carry sound so if ur right next 2 it u wont see it coming...well, hear

  • @ILY924 yes thats true.... it doesnt explode it just ...a shockwave gass and particles at about 10billion MPH.... if yellowstone exploded it would cauuse its very own mini supernova/shockwave

  • @bonkadventure2 it will explode not destroying our solar system but showering it with many other molecules and atoms creating new life + our planet is one of the smaller ones so it will turn in to a dwarf star

  • @norraa101 i mean our sun not planet :P

  • Ah yes the bigger suns do that..terrible events.. well that isn't the worst. I mean black holes, Pulsars.. Our sun happily, well happily will indeed release part of it's mass it can't keep anymore but retains a white dwarf.. our planet.. roasted.

  • @masticina white dwarf gives off like and is still burning... brown dwarf doesnt burf.... also a black hole with the same mass as our sun would just act the same as our sun... give off the same heat and light...

  • @lukealandrummond

Mmm how more you know of how things work...how more comes clear we do live in borrowed time. So many things that have limited times.

  • hhow you get this?

  • Our sun wont be a supernova just a Nova its not big enough i think

  • I wonder what do you think when it happens to our sun?

  • first :p

  • ok then
