@wcshearon1 Because our society pretty much tries to imprint into our minds that lighter skin color= good and darker skin color = bad. Heck I've heard that some African-Americans who have really dark skin want to bleach it just so they'll be lighter.

This test can hardly be called "scientific" The person presupposes that there is a "good" and "nice" doll. And that they have to make a distinction. The same study was used to bring down segregation. But no one now asks that, "maybe segregation wasn't the reason for their preferences"

Further more there needs to be more studies with different race children. Who knows, maybe White children prefer and Asian doll.
