Mike's great, always has been. Ed and Al deserve the accolades they get, but so does Mike. I'm looking forward to the stuff with the new band with Joe. I mean when Sam joined VH how could it not be great?? And it was! This is going to be another one of those events. I'm looking forward to it!!

I bought 5 star pkge.4 2004 tour. Soundcheck was phenomenol! But Hagar wasnt there. Mike did the singing. They played I'm the One.First time I'd heard it since the 78 tour. After soundcheck Mike started at 1 side of the stage and signed everything that anybody wanted sighned. From one side of the stage to the other! Eddie was a Mess! EVH was chuck-n Wine like there was no tommorrow. He drank a whole bottle at soundcheck.EVH is a GOD, Ive seen them 13 times.And will pay 2C them again.W/orW/O Mike

I would imagine some of the reasons the fans love Mike is because the guy understands the words: Thankful, appreciation and the most important: HUMILITY.

Great interview. I wish Mike continued success with his future endeavors. Hopefully someday he'll return to the fold even if they're all using canes and walkers they'll still be Van Halen.

Michael Anthony: Ex Van Halen member...just doesn't feel right to say. As long as Mikes alive he should be in Van Halen. Wolf did a GREAT job, but Mike is just a legend. It would be like replacing Eddie with a younger faster guitarist. He might be able to play the songs amazingly, but he's not eddie.

Wolfgang can play but he is not the backup singer Mike is. Mike was a huge part of Van Halen`s sound
