I agree that this seems more like an office than an apartment. It's weird that he just leaves his door open, and people come in to take his coffee. And why does that last girl come in so aggressively? She doesn't seem into Stanley, just kind of awkward. And lastly, when she sips the coffee, it almost looks like it's too hot or something. Her reaction to the coffee doesn't make me want to drink it.
Thanks for the comment - the idea is that these are women who live on the same floor of the apartment building. He makes coffee for them every day because he loves his coffeemaker so much. He makes coffee for his "girl next door" in the coffee mug instead of the to go cup.
@mkwilkin Well, it looks more like an office building than an apartment, and Stanley seems like a poorly dressed male receptionist in this 'office'. He's also a major pushover to women, and probably grew up in a household of domineering older sisters who dressed him up like a girl a lot as a kid.
