Thanks for Your informational video but I see you're still curved and they haven't fixed the cervical zone.
Cervical zone needs support also from correct jaw/teeth position, look for "OCCLUSIONE GRAVITA" (OcclusioneGravità Webiste) over Google for more info (can't post Website links here).
I have Scheuermann's disease and have a surgery consult on Tuesday. How is your pain NOW? Is the recovery still going well? I know some people have good days, some bad days. Others have pain constantly and require additional surgeries.
@AM4012 Hi I am 4 months post-op and I have no pain...I was in pain for a good 2 months..down to tylenol...then to nothing..but expect the pain to last at least 3 months..BUT it is very manageable. plus with a straight spine, you can deal!
This was really helpful! I'm thinking of getting this surgery. I'm 17 and my curve is around 65-70 degrees. My biggest worry is that I will grow too much in height. Since I am already 5'9,5 : /
Hi there i got diagnosed with this condition when i was 14 i noticed it when i was in pain and had stiffness in my back after playing football. I started athletics that year and i lost around 2 stone and the pain seemed to stop, now that i have stopped athletics and put weight back on i have started getting pains and stiffness again. I would recommend to anybody to be extremely active and if you get pain carry on going and im sure it will benefit you. PS the surgery looks to have worked well :)
@ultramarine1234 My curve was 72 degrees and it was corrected to about 45. However, it depends a lot on where the curve is on your back. Mine was very low; most people with kyphosis have a much higher 'hunch'. Best of luck, and if you have any more questions, feel free to message or comment me.
Hey man, I just wanted to say thanks for these videos, I'm going to be having spinal surgery soon and these have really helped me a lot. Cheers man!

Hi there what degree was your curvature? Just so I can judge how tall I'll be.
