Thanks for your help. I kept looking in the program files and couldn't find "Custom Music". For anyone that didn't really catch on: I found my folder by going to Computer>Libraries>Documents>E­lectronic Arts>The Sims 3> ...or just go to Documents and look for the EA folder. Thanks again RAW.

There is a Costum Musik folder in my programm folder, but it is not in documents.

Local Disk > Programms(x86) > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Game Data > Shared > NoPackaged > Costum Musik

I only searched 1 minute to find this and it works!!

It really work open up documents and then eletrounts arts then go to where u open up a website but u don't open up a website any ways click on music and open but up comtom music then they are 2 ways to put the music on it okay 1 is u drag the music to it or copy and paste I'm glad I helped u guys bye

if ya'll are having a problem. I know why. The other music is a GAME genre. Yours are all dance or rock or blues or whatever you have. I noticed that so all you need to do is find a way to convert the file.

If you guys are still having trouble playing custom music make sure you are using the right "Custom Music" folder which should be located in "My Documents then EA"

Also double check your music to see that its converted to .mp3 format and NOT .Wav

.Mp3 and .Wav look similar but the radio will only play .Mp3 songs!!!

I copied and pasted the music files in the correct folder, but when I try to play it in the game it only plays the custom music that comes with the game. None of my music is playing, even if I delete the songs that came with the game so that just my music is there, when I play it the songs come back. I know I put it in the correct folder and I'm listening to the right station, but my songs just won't play.

1 question, is there a way to make ALL the songs I add import to the game because only some of them actually worked. It's kay if they don't 'cause I have iTunes but it's a lot easier to just do it by the game.

@Mink105 If you have added in the songs,they will play by itself eventually,it will randomize songs from the custom music folder and if you put too many in,then you will have to slowly wait for it to be played :D
