The cold war never ended. America is still trying to grab the OIL to keep it's Military above all others.

Russia threatens them due to their geographic location and the vast amount of resources they have on their land. If Russia fell to American/European hands the NWO would be finally manifested.

This might explain why Russia is making deals to increase it's global grasp of the reserves with Iran/Venezuela and supplying China.
