  • @macedonianchorba: I have no need to ask anyone dear. Scolarship is one thing, conspiracy theories based on paretymologies are another. Could you please give me the names of your so-called "philologists" who support these paretymologies, and their credentials? (where do they teach etc).

  • The original lanuage was Ancient Greek, which is only written (just like Latin).

This song is not old enough to be in available in Ancient Greek.

If "original" means a Slavic lanuage, I doubt it exists in such a language, Slavic languages are recent. Contrary to whatever you may believe.

  • The macedonian of ancient times exists on the artifacts and monuments of Macedonia, It was Ancient Greek.

What you call "macedonian" language is a Slavic language, or probably Serbo Croatian !!!

You don't even know what the rays in the star of Vergina stand for !!!!!

  • You will like this one: /watch?v=pxczx_MU2h4

  • lol Macedonians used to spoke and they speak and they WILL speak Greek. How come a bunch of slavian monkeys declare the Macedonian History , name and fame? Give me a break..You didnt even exist by the time of Macedonian Fight against Bulgarians and Turks...lol go back in the trees.

  • lol Macedonians used to spoke and they speak and they WILL speak MACEDONIAN. How come a bunch of ETHIOPIAN monkeys declare the Macedonian History , name and fame? Give me a break. GET LOST GayREEKS FROM HELLASS !!!

did u know thet language , can u make diferens bethwin ancient hellenic and coine ????

  • can you spell? no. i think you should go look in a dictionary, and when you learn how to spell, look in a history book and actually understand what it says. you will be very surprised to see that the former yugoslav republic of macedonia got its name off Tito, the serbian leader, and that your people came into the area in the 600 Ad. but wait a minute. you guys are bulgarians with a serbian influence. you make both of them look bad. now go study that dictionary.

  • gayreeks? good comeback buddy. i think you should go work on that, and maybe come back when you think you wont make yourself look retarded.

  • @macedonianchorba: Why don't you tell us waht the name "Macedonia" means in your language? Can you give us its etymology? Or that of "Alexander" perhaps?

  • whit pleasure , but when u gonna give it to us the etymology of the words "atina, livadja, zevs, halkidik, pelopones and all toponims is so called Greece. and the most importing explane what Helleni mean ????

  • @macedonianchorba: Sure, here you go, Most of them are related to our mythology btw. "Athena": name of the ancient Goddess of Wisdom, it is an ancient word recorded in scripts written in the Mycenan Greek Linear B (I assume you know what that is).

  • Atina - Goddess of Wisdom - born from the forehead of her father Ze - so fathers daughter

in old macedonian is - " Ati "-dad, father

in modern - " Tato, Tatko, tatichko "

  • You are so funny hahahaha.

  • @macedonianchorba: "Peloponnese". It is derived from the words "Pelops" and "Nessos", meaning "island" in Greek. The island of Pelops. Pelops was a hero in our mythology. As to why it was called "the island of Pelops", you can read the mythological story of Pelops and Hippodameia online.

  • pelo = belo = white

    pelo-ponesi = bringing white

    pela = white (sity)

pelagonia , pelazgi and many of them whit meaning "white" in ther names

  • White je belo i nije pelo.

  • @macedonianchorba: "Chalkidiki". Derived from the name "Chalkis", which is a town in Euboea. Why is it derived from that? Because greek settlers from Chalkis populated the northern "Chalkidiki" in th 8th century BC.

  • @macedonianchorba: And what does "Chalkis" mean? It is derived from the word "Chalkos", maening copper. The region of "Chalkis" in Euboea was rich in copper, hence the name.

  • @macedonianchorba: "Zeus". The majority of scholars believe it is derived from the Indo-European word "djeus", meaning God, or Day. Therefore, the "Sun-God" Cognate with "djeus" is the Latin "Deus", the Hittite "sius" etc.

  • зе

земја = зе-м-ја = ( ja or ija - addings for land, Earth, ground, country ) so which land ?? on Ze afcorse, the God. ( makedonija francija or makedonia francia grcia .......)

and another hundrets of words who explane tne natute of the word "Ze" - for light and God .

which word is conected to this proverb ????

  • @macedonianchorba: "Levadia". From the name of the ancient Athenian settler Levados who founded the city.

  • @macedonianchorba: "Hellenes". It is derived from the ancient word "Selloi" or "Elloi" (used by Homer and Pindarus among others). At first it used to designate the inhabitans of Euboea, Dodoni, and Phthia, by the tiem of Herodotus it designated all the greek tribes.

  • селе

    селење

another word who u will alone find on google translator ( sele, selenje - latinic transkribtion)

then u will know what we call for ppl of your kind !!

  • @macedonianchorba: So, after having explained the history of these words to you (all of them come to us from the ancient times and have to do with our mythology as you see), would you be so kind as to tell me what "Alexander" means in your language? Thanks in advance.

  • а

  • This etymology of the word is just yours.

  • @macedonianchorba There isn't any "Macedonian" language. The language that is spoken in Scopje is an artificial one with many Albanian,Slavish and Bulgarian words.

Unfortunately the propaganda of all the Scopian governments the last 60 years made you believe that there is a "Macedonian civilization" etc. Too bad for you....

  • Lyrics GR-1

    Απάνω στη μαύρα μου μάτια

    απάνω στην τριανταφυλλιά

    χτίζειν η πέρδικα φωλιά.

Χτίζειν η πέ- μαύρα μου μάτια

    χτίζειν η πέρδικα φωλιά

    σιμπαινοβγαίνουν τα πουλιά.

  • Lyrics GR-2

    Σιμπαινοβγαι- μαύρα μου μάτια

    σιμπαινοβγαίνουν τα πουλιά

    και σιέται η τριανταφυλλιά.

Και σιέται η- μαύρα μου μάτια

    και σιέται η τριανταφυλλιά

    και πέφτουν τα τριαντάφυλλα.

Και πέφτουν τα- μαύρα μου μάτια

    και πέφτουν τα τριαντάφυλλα

    μέσα στης νύφης την ποδιά.
