Apple and Steve Jobs has already commented on their thoughts on Flash, therefore, it's almost a 99.9% guarantee that the iPad (or iPod Touch or iPhone for that matter) will ever have flash. Same with USB and SD without adapters.

If you watched Jobs' keynote, you'll see it fills a void that's between full size computer and iPhone. I have iPhone and MacBookPro. Won't be getting one at release, but will be watching for apps. If there are good content creation and presentation tools available, I can leave the MBP and cables at home, just pack iPad instead.

For a product so much more powerful and expensive. The wi-fi speed should be, in my opinion, much faster. It took quiet a while to load some of those pages compared to loading them on my laptop.
Its strange looking at it you think its pointless but when you actually think about using it infront of you it seems like a good idea. Laptops aint too portable and it looks easy to chill with it say when your led in bed or sat down or using it in collage. I couldn't agree with you more. This is just like when the IPhone initially came out. It was expensive and had limited apps. I waited until the 3G version came out, which was Cheaper and Better than the original. I hope that the next version of the IPad has Flash comp-ability and a camera!

Yeah, I've been using the Safari add-on. Is there another alternative? I've been using Chrome browser on and off since it came out for Mac, and its seems to run YouTube very smoothly. Firefox is the worst.

If you use a Mac too, check out that Safari add-on. It blocks all flash on every website and give you the choice to load it or not. For video you also have the option to stream it as h.264 instead of flash, and download the video if you want - a good overall package! Makes browsing so easy.

You can buy an iPhone stylus, which I would imagine would work on an iPad.
I would bet that someone will make a note-taking app for the iPad, one that would recognize your handwriting and turn it into typed text, if you wanted.

Who the hell wants to use a stylus to write on something. I'm just fine typing a note with a keyboard. Even if they did, there are more people who wouldn't need a stylus, as apposed to the few that would. I swear, people complain about the stupidest things. Just go buy some shitty product that microsoft will put out a few months after the ipad.

I say that anyone wanting an iPad [besides office use perhaps] should hold off the buy for a year until the next better model comes out or even two years for the "revolutionary" model haha. Just saying though that's my opinion to save some money...there's obviously going to be a better one in about a year

I couldn't agree with you more. This is just like when the IPhone initially came out. It was expensive and had limited apps. I waited until the 3G version came out, which was Cheaper and Better than the original. I hope that the next version of the IPad has Flash comp-ability and a camera!

GUYS!!! Dont you ALLLL Know that WHEN the jailbreak comes out for this device, that there will be flash and mutitasking ? I have flash and i can muti task with up to 3 different apps on my Iphone 3gs! I will get one as soon as it comes out and im sure not long after there out, there will be a jailbreak for them

Yeah, I've been using the Safari add-on. Is there another alternative? I've been using Chrome browser on and off since it came out for Mac, and its seems to run YouTube very smoothly. Firefox is the worst.

If you use a Mac too, check out that Safari add-on. It blocks all flash on every website and give you the choice to load it or not. For video you also have the option to stream it as h.264 instead of flash, and download the video if you want - a good overall package! Makes browsing so easy.

Yep, I also have a Mac. If i'm not mistaken, I believe that with the html5 beta you also get h.264 streaming.
