Do you ever have a problem with some pictures that don't load, or maybe they load but are corrupted?
If you had put the new drive in as a second drive you could have imaged the boot drive to it and had everything on your system copied over to the new drive.
Oh wow. We started out with the same kind of computer. I recently put a new PSU and GPU in mine. A GTX260, even beefier. The thing that sucks about the way our computers are set up is that everything is that the internal components are mirrored compared to most PC's. Putting in a new PSU and fat GPU was hell.
Ahh! Yes, the reason I didn't go with a GTX 2 series is because I didn't want to also have to upgrade the PSU. It does everything I need it for without having to suck up enough power to need to beef up the PSU.
I can imagine how horrible it would've been, when I installed the video card, it took me about 10 minutes to get it in because there was hardly enough room. I was thinking of giving up but, I figured out a weird way to get it in there.

Your computer is pretty much the same as mine, although youve got more RAM (ive only got 4gb) and ive got the nvidia 280 card which is a mega beast.
The craziest of all? You have BLUE SATA cables?!
