Even though this is over a year old, I have advice for Becca and Izzy. Of course you should talk to your parents about their behaviors and talk to Grampa too. See if it would be ok with him if you put a reminder sign on the fridge that says "Izzy is on a diet! Please no human food!" or something like that to help remind him. Look into dog treats (freeze dried liver is awesome!) that are low in protein so that if Grampa feeds her too many she won't bulk up and get her moving as much as possible!

For the dog my best suggestion would be to limit your dog to areas that do not typically have food. I know I trained my previous dog to go no where but the kitchen and the basement as he grew older and began to lose control of his bladder so it can be done. you just have to set the line.
We began by using gates and as time passed slowly began to leave them down and scold him when he crossed the line and put the gate back up.

When I was in third grade, my teacher told my mom I needed a bra. I was a C cup and I was nine. I would have given anything to still be flat chested at 12!
Every dog we ever had ate people food and lived healthfully to a ripe old age (14 or older). I should add that we only ever had mutts (shepherd, lab, beagle, newfoundland mixed breeds) and perhaps pure bred dogs with all of their other health problems, also have digestive issues. I think that if a dog has always eaten "people" food, it gets used to it, whereas an animal who has a strict diet and gets a treat here and there is more likely to get sick as a result.

You're 12 (maybe 13 at this point). When I was 12 mine were kinda small too, nothing happened 'til I was maybe 15 or 16. Believe me, you don't want them big. They get in the way sometimes. And breast size is not the standard of beauty, those girls who make fun of you have no right to do so and guess what? This fabulous man giving you advice is right, you are AWESOME all by yourself. You might be a model someday ;)

Catherine: I have 2 friends with really big boobs and they are so unhappy and even reluctant to wear a bikini or go swimming at all. Me and my best friend are more on the smaller side but with time we have learnt to appreciate the good sides: your boobs will stay perky waay longer! :) Men like to have exactly a handful! :)) (thats what I hear a lot lol). I remember being 12, its difficult but it will be ok. At some point you accept your body. & at12, theres no way of saying how you will end up!

For the dog my best suggestion would be to limit your dog to areas that do not typically have food. I know I trained my previous dog to go no where but the kitchen and the basement as he grew older and began to lose control of his bladder so it can be done. you just have to set the line.
We began by using gates and as time passed slowly began to leave them down and scold him when he crossed the line and put the gate back up.

To jenny try talking to your bf, he already loves you. If you're nervous just tell him and maybe he can do something to make the situation more comfortable. i am around the same age and also had the same thoughts and issue. Every dog we ever had ate people food and lived healthfully to a ripe old age (14 or older). I should add that we only ever had mutts (shepherd, lab, beagle, newfoundland mixed breeds) and perhaps pure bred dogs with all of their other health problems, also have digestive issues. I think that if a dog has always eaten "people" food, it gets used to it, whereas an animal who has a strict diet and gets a treat here and there is more likely to get sick as a result.
