I have watched this movie since 1989. I know I am not these original originals but I am not a christmas story poser. from 1st grade to 8th grade I would watch the whole movie from dec. 1 to christmas. I had the script memorize and could repeat the whole movie exact right before the did on film. I cannot watch this movie anymore I have seen it so much. I HATE A CHRISTMAS STORY POSERS.
For anyone keeping count, Ralphie says he wants the Red Ryder BB Gun 28 times throughout the course of the movie. Thats approximately once every three minutes and 20 seconds.
I used to watch the marathon on TBS every year. But I live in Canada and they replaced TBS with Peach Tree Tv, which does not show it. Thank God it'up on youtube.
ooh yah i love watching the TBS marathon. I live in the united states so they still show the marathon thank god, i dont know what i would do at christmastime without this movie. christmas would not be christmas without this film.

I always wait until like, mid-December before I watch this movie.
In my opinion, it's the best Christmas movie ever made. Thus, it's too special to watch any time of the year. Hahaha.
I also like to watch Christmas Vacation as many times as I can as soon as December starts.
