  • Favre is one of kind, his passion for the game is unmatched.. played truly for the love of the game

  • Im 14 i cried when favre retired threw game ending picks but i love the guy. he is my idol friend, hero I only wish i could meet him He was hated by many but loved by few now but he will be missed everyday smh. I been a fan for 12 years and No matter what any when says favre threw picks but he always extended the game unlike rodgers that didnt put up a fight aginst the giants . Favre made football what it is . I only watched it football because of him.i wanna be a qb just like himFAVRE 4 EVER

  • People can always bring up the interceptions but the was nobody hit threaded the needle as many times as he did.

  • I am totally with you if it were not for Brett, Mike Holmgren , Steve Mariucci , Reggie White or Big Irv there would never have been a Packer Organization of now. And NEVER would Brett or any real man not only be Inactive but yet not be phototed with a woman and yet not call Miss America . and wait yes INACTIVE as a Man --Name me one other real QB other than Brett that would have allowed that ??? AARON is a PUSS

  • Don't forget, he had Sharpe for a short while, All-pro tight end, Chewy, and Brooks was awesome too. I loved the guy, he did so much for the Packers, but also made a lot of bad decisions. ..Tough as nails too. I think Rodgers is a bit smarter, and his recievers are good but not great.Jones drops too many balls, and so does Finley.I counted about 9 in the last two weeks. Jennings and Nelson are great but Driver is getting up there now.Just saying you can argue the case for Rodgers. He has my vote1

  • @georux1 Jones drops too many passes because he is black. Last I checked, NELSON dropped more passes than anyone on the packers.

  • @georux1 Wow Rodgers has your vote because he is a bit smarter?? What true leader that is smart allows himself to be Inactive with no Injury ???? wait yes got his ass kicked right after that obvious misstep??? Brett and Reggie would never ever take themselves off that field also Tom Brady and Eli Manning would not either so Aaron will never have my vote

  • @APRIL2719621 Go play with yourself to brett favres nudies wiener.

  • I'm 17, I cried when he left the packers, he was the only packers qb I ever seen play. Brett Favre will always be my favorite player ever, no matter how many super bowls Rodgers wins.

  • @badgers4194 Love this quote. Im with you brother!

  • Brett Favre, where 6 interceptions in the 2001 NFC championship happens.

Brett Favre, where the last throw as a Green Bay Packer is an interception happens.

Brett Favre, where the last throw in the 2009 NFC championship game happens.

Brett Favre, where sending pictures of your dick to Jenn Sterger happens.

Brett Favre, where 4th quarter heroics DON'T happen.

Brett Favre, where coming out of retirement again might just happen.

  • @OoAtowno0 2001 nfc championship? that was between the rams and the eagles... dumbfuck.

If AP didnt fumble like 4 times he wouldnt have to be put in that situation.

He has plenty of 4th quarter heroics, you're just too narrow-minded to see them.

  • @OoAtowno0 Ummm, who are you? Probably never been in any of the same situations as Favre, so you shouldn't really try and critique him. I understand you have your opinions, but sometimes when you voice them you make yourself look like an ass.

  • @nmopiv I'm a die hard packers fan and I can critique him all I want. The only fact that wasn't true was the 2001 NFC championship fact, it was the divisional round. 1st So voicing my opinion makes me look like an ass in what way? 2nd No shit I have never been in those situations, have you? He's an NFL quarterback... The fact is he was great, but he was also a sellout, a pervert, and very unclutch in playoff crunch time. Compare his first 4 seasons to Rodgers, & same amount of rings. Nuff said.

  • @GreenDay1981 oh im sry but didnt brett favre throw 7 tds his first season with the vikings against the packers in the two games they played. yea i think he was 41. simple as this: yes he did choke.. what qb hasnt? its the nature of the game. sry to give you this newsflash rodgers isnt better than brett (not yet anyway). i do believe the packers would have won the superbowl regardless of qb because they have the most dominate defense ive ever seen in the nfl

  • There is no question that Green Bay would have been better with Favre than with Rodgers for the first couple years but like all frachises there is no loyalty in Green Bay either. Rodgers has more skill than Favre that is true but who did he watch from the sidelines and learn greatness from?

  • This is the Double Standard Excuse I hear for Brett Favre

Packers team is good enough to win their Division but when they lose, the team is all of a sudden not good enough to win a Playoff Game at HOME!

Im sure those players on the Brett Favre packers were tired and sick of watching him blow the season away cause he made such Dumb Decisions.

So to say Favre didn't have a team, is an insult to the players on the packers, they were good enough to win the SuperBowl but Favre Blew it with INT's.

  • Proud to be from the south and with Favre living 5 minutes from my house is even better, Hattiesburg MS!!!!!

  • The league is better when Favre is in it. The gunslinger is probably my favorite sports nickname out there. It just embodied his whole playing style. There will never be another Brett Favre.

  • FOR ALL FUCKING FAVRE HATERS (AND CLOSET VIKING FANS IN WESTERN, WI DURING THE BUD GRANT ERA)...IF IT WEREN'T FOR FAVRE, YOU'D ALL STILL BE LONGING FOR THE LOMBARDI DAYS AND WISHING FRAN TARKENTON WAS YOUR QB....SO, GO FUCK YOURSELVES AND GIVE THE MAN THE PROPS THAT HE SO DESERVE, EVEN IF HE IS A HICK...JUST LIKE STARR.

  • Rodgers will never be as great as Favre, he's the most fun to watch of any athlete on the planet, full stop

  • Favre became a "PROTECTED" QB in 1998. No way could Favre break Jawroski's record the right way

  • Rodgers is now better!

  • @JDGjacob Now yes, Then No way

  • Brett favre was Arron Rodgers master and look what his disciple has done

  • @laughingwarrior That would be true if Favre gave Rodgers any advice whatsoever but he didn't. Rodgers is nothing like Favre and I mean that in a good way. Rodgers tied the NFL record last night for most consecutive games with a QB rating over 100. Favre has only had 1 season where he finished with a QB rating over 100 and it wasn't even with the Packers. Rodgers has done it twice and is on his way to doing it a 3rd time and possibly winning his first NFL MVP. Rodgers > Favre

  • @GreenDay1981 Aaaron has 2 or 3 more time to even get close to Brett and he has to play many more games and throw many more TDs to even hold a candle. If Aaron felt so dissed and was learnig nothing why did he not leave? what was it 7 years or something that he stood behing Brett . He WAS LEARNING FROM THE BEST and he knew it. If Aaron was not awsome now he would be a total waste. He owes everything to Brett

  • @APRIL2719621 He didn't leave because he knew Favre couldn't play forever. Rodgers was patient and waited for his chance to shine. The Packers should have sent Favre packing 2 or 3 years sooner. If Rodgers was taking after Favre, he would probably have 15 interceptions by now. He owes NOTHING to Favre. Rodgers is a smarter QB than Favre ever was! That's why he has a Super Bowl MVP and brought this team back from the depths last season. He's the reason people took the Packers seriously.

  • Yeah, where an amazingly bad playoff record happens. Only getting to the Super Bowl twice in 12 attempts and winning just once. He should have dinner with Bobby Cox and discuss their many playoff failures.

  • He used to be good, The guy is old now retire his ass.

  • is where all time leader in INTS!! but if jamarcus russel was still playing he would of broke it in 3 years

  • Hey Packers fans, enjoy this while you can. I'm a 49ers fan, so I can tell you what it's like... you have it real good right now.

  • @Pgaither84

I totally get what you're saying. We are definitely spoiled up here. 2 quarterbacks in the last 20 years. It's awesome.

  • Favre is a legend

  • One more thing, Rodgers has carried the Pack on his back. Clearly, the past 3 seasons he's started he's had about 4,000 passing yards and had the second most rushing yards on the team. That's not carrying the team on your back?? He's practically been the offense and does a lot for the team. Like I said, not discrediting Favre, but you can't say he was the best. Only reason why he broke so many records was the amount of time he was around when it was obvious that he should've retired earlier.

  • Don't forget he's got the most interceptions in NFL history too, he took wayyy too many chances. I'm not bashing Favre or anything, but you gotta look at how his whole career was, the positives and negatives. When the time counted, he wasn't that clutch player everyone thought he was. The guy only has 1 Superbowl win whereas Starr has 2. Like I said, Rodgers still has a ways to go, he's got one superbowl and I'm really happy for him, as a fan of the Pack and Rodgers.

  • I think you're all giving Favre wayyyy too much credit. There's no doubt that he was one of the best QBs in history and in Packer Franchise history, but how can you say that he was the best Packer when Rodgers has still a ways to go in his career? You don't even know how well Favre would have fared in the 60s in place of Bart Starr. Its a different time period. One man does not make the team, and you're forgetting how many good players Favre had to help him throughout his career.

  • were leaving greenbay happens

  • BRETT IS THE GREATEST PACKER EVER.....HE IS BETTER THAN RODGERS, BETTER THAN STARR. ALL THOSE SHITTY TEAMS HE PLAYED IN GREEN BAY....HIS BEST RECEIVER FOR FREEMAN WHOM MY GRANDMOTHER CAN OUTRUN AND BILL SCHROEDER . THERE WAS NO JENNINGS (STILL DEVELOPING) NOR MATHEWS TO HELP CARRY THE LOAD. FAVRE HID THE ALL THE WEAKNESSES ON EVERY TEAM HE PLAYED ON...THAT IS WHY HE IS/WAS THE GREATEST. I CAN'T STAND FAVRE, AND PREFER RODGERS BUT FAVRE IS BETTER THAN A. RODGE.

  • @thoraz997 I think time will tell on who was the best. I do think that those teams a few years back were better than you give them credit for. Not great, but good.

  • @thoraz997 You're a moron... Enough said. IF I TYPED IN ALL CAPS WOULD YOU UNDERSTAND BETTER!?

  • @richig761 And you watch Britney Spears videos.....who is the real Moron hear? IF K-FRED WAS FUCKING YOUR REDNECK ASS WHILE YOU WATCH BRITNEY VIDEOS, WOULD YOU FEEL GOOD? PROVABLY NOT....FATHER NELSON HAS HAD YOUR ASS FOR MANY YEARS.

  • @thoraz997 I clicked on a video making fun of Britney Spears, and exposing her terrible voice for like 10 seconds lol. Not sure what the hell that has to do with anything. Just seems like you have nothing better to say. hahaha HEY KEEP TYPING IN CAPS THOUGH!!!! MAYBE I'LL GET THE POINT IF YOU TYPE IN CAPS!!! YEAH!!!............. Idiot.

  • @thoraz997 Starr had a better post-season passer rating (104.5), a .900 winning post-season record, & a championship ring for every finger on his throwing hand... #4 was one of the greatest QB's ever, & #12 is having a fine, fine career so far, but let's keep things in perspective.

  • @dexterious006 You should keep things in perspective....I am a Favre basher, but you put Rodgers or Starr on those bad non-discipline Sherman teams and they'd had 3-4 wins. Look at how ARodge did the year #4 left. Put Farve on the Pack 60's teams and they'd won 9 Championships.

  • @thoraz997 i agree

  • @thoraz997 right on the money, thoraz, very astute. Favre's ability and passion that translates to the field and his teammates so well -it is utterly unique, Rodge with never have that, no one else does, Maybe Peyton a bit. Favre's a one of a kind player and the most fun to watch of any player in any sport. Witness the ratings the past 3 years when he was playing in prime time - records for the NFL!

  • @socrates1818 You know, people can BASH Favre that they want......but you look at those tapes of him carrying the Packers on his back, and you can't help but envy the man. Honestly, I think A Rodge will win more SuperBowls than Favre, but A Rodge will never be as good as Farve.

  • @thoraz997 No Mattews? WHAT!?!?! He had REGGIE WHITE, who's way better than Matthews on defense.

  • @thoraz997 Hi. Packer fan since the 60s here..... Favre was great. Rodgers is better, simply because Rodgers does not throw it up to be intercepted 3 times a game. That was Favres weakness. He was still great, but Rodgers and Bart Starr were better because they didnt make as many mistakes.

  • @teddy516 Sure teddy....just looked what happened to the Colts. I rest my case.

  • @thoraz997 Yeah, So??? The Colts lost Manning and went to the bottom of the league. So what? What does that have to do with Favre or Rodgers?

  • @teddy516 I'll agree that Bart Starr is better, but Rodgers may not have the better career. Rodgers has had an impressive few seasons, but I want to see how long he'll keep it up. In Rodger's first start he screwed up and tried to kick the ball and fumbled to lose, not to mention overthrowing a wide open Jennings for the win. Give Rodgers some more time to screw it all up.

  • @thoraz997 rodgers will BE better, hes just not there yet

  • @thoraz997 LOL are you kidding me A-Rod is on pace to shatter every record a qb can have during a season including qb rating, yardage, tds and completion percentage and doing all of that with barely any picks and leading his team to 9-0 !!! Jim Kelly just said this week that Favre was amazing but he thinks A-Rod is the best qb hes ever seen play the game

  • @GBstunna WFT??? So are saying Timmy Smith is the best Running who ever lived? Jim Kelly has no credibility...that is like saying Matt Millen is a football expert. ROFL....

  • @thoraz997 Reggie White is the GREATEST PACKER ever !

  • @Elizadale23 In the words of Larry McCarren: IDIOTS ARE BORN....NOT MADE. You are an ignorant idiot. Don't insult the likes of Jimmy Taylor, Henry Jordan, or Don Hudson.

  • @thoraz997

favre may have been the greatest back in his prime, but once 2002-2003 came around, he was trash. for every 10 passes, he threw an interception. rodgers is better than favre. the numbers dont prove it yet, but if rodgers stays in the league as long as favre did, he will pass him on a lot of those records. and will pass him as best quarterback. and no, the quarterback doesnt make the team. your only as good as your shittiest player

  • @tombeals69 You just contradicted yourself.....put Favre on the 2011 packers and they'd have the same record. Put Rodgers on the 2002-2007 teams and they'd be worse, ala the year Farve left.

  • @thoraz997 You are a fucking moron. The Packers would not be undefeated this season if Favre was still here. No chance! If Favre was still here last season, they would NOT have won the Super Bowl. Favre would have choked it away like he did so many times. You sound like a Favre ass-kisser that is too bitter to admit Rodgers is better. Rodgers has the NFL record for consecutive games with a QB rating over 100 and that streak is still going! Favre never put together a streak like that.

  • @GreenDay1981 Another in-bread from Kentucky trying to sound like he knows what he is talking about. Stick to playing the Banjo and making your mom, your in-laws. ROFL.

  • @thoraz997 I'm not from Kentucky fucknut. Way to reply with something that has nothing to do with the topic. Just proves you have nothing to say. Fag.

  • @thoraz997 Give it 2 years

  • @thoraz997 True words from a true football fan Favre is the best QB to ever grace the game there will never be another gunslinger.

  • @thoraz997 Favre is not the Greatest Packer Ever. Bart Starr was, you know why?

Cause he didn't Turn the Ball Over in Crunch Time blowing playoff games.

Favre had very good teams. Do not dare DOWNGRADE his packers (1997-2007) teams only cause they lost those playoff games, or should I say Brett Favre threw such Beautiful passes to the opposing team in late crucial 4th quarter playoff moments. Thorwing the season away.

  • @thoraz997 what about reggie white idiot

  • @TedBundyDoesntLikeu Hey fuck face.....Reggie White went into the Hall of Fame as an Eagle. As much as you would like for Reggie to be a Packer, his was an EAGLE in a Packers Uniform. He sold his land where he was going to build his retirement home in WI cuz he just became another black man in WI after he retired. Why the fuck did you think he moved to NC? Now, go fuck yourself.

  • @thoraz997 WOW are you fucking brain dead? HE WAS ONLY THERE FOR A SUPER BOWL WIN YOU STUPID FUCKING COCK SUCKING MOTHER FUCKER. GO BLOW YOUR FUCKING HEAD OFF YOU WASTE OF SKIN. GET FUCKING BENT YOU STUPID FUCK WHITE SAID HIMSELF PACKER FANS ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH BEFORE YOU COME SPIT SHIT OUT OF YOUR COCK HOLSTER dumb fuck.

  • @TedBundyDoesntLikeu damnn lmao

  • @TedBundyDoesntLikeu Keep swearing and being angry because you are showing how truly stupid you are. Reggie White is Dead and he was a Packer because of Brett . He left Philly to play for the Pack. Do you own your own REASEARCH beacause Reggie White died a Packer please know that

  • @APRIL2719621 are you stupid? Thats what i was saying read a comment before posting on something I was saying. dumb dumb dumb dumb. People like you are beyond mentally retarded and it makes me ashamed to say we love the same team. Also, My intelligence I'm sure far exceeds the likes of yours.

  • @thoraz997 And learn how to fucking read the shit you said YOU SAID HE HAD NO ONE ON HIS TEAMS DURING THOSE YEARS I SAID REGGIE WHITE WAS ON THAT TEAM. God damn you're beyond fucking retarded. Please go blow your brains out.

  • I think its funny that where amazing happens commercials are for the nba.

  • @gfscarface13 yeah cuz winning a superbowl makes him a bad playoff qb

  • Forget those cocksuckers in Minnesota, Brett and come on home to Green Bay where you belong.

  • Brett's overrated. He was good at throwing to the other team when the big games were on the line. I'll take Aaron Rodgers any day. Aaron chokes way less.

  • @2014cwajts71 : Kinda unfair to compare a 20 year career to a 3 year career in terms of choking away games. As great as Aaron Rodgers is, it is very easy to say that when he has the most prolific offense Green Bay has ever seen with weapons everywhere. Even in the 1996 Super Bowl season Favre did not have as many weapons as Rodgers does now. Even the Packers reserves are good. The team as a whole had 10 guys on IR and still won the Super Bowl.

  • @D2Kprime Maybe a little unfair, but Favre just had the uncanny knack of choking and throwing the ball to the wrong team in big games and when the game was on the line. That was the strategy of a lot of defenses : wait for him to make a mistake and we'll win the game. I also think both Super Bowl teams were loaded, damn near even in talent, but that's just me.

  • @2014cwajts71 : Neither Super Bowl team had the DEPTH that the current Super Bowl team has. I repeat. The Packers at 10 guys on IR (most of them defensive starters). Not to mention other guys like Johnny Jolly gone from suspensions. They didn't miss a single beat.

When the Packers were in 'dog-fight' type games is when Favre threw INTs. But it's a pointless discussion. Packer fans blame Favre for everything. Only Favre made mistakes and everyone else was perfect.....

  • @D2Kprime I do think you're right when it comes to depth. And I don't blame Favre for everything. Mike Sherman was a waste of a coach. I just saw Brett try to do too much himself when it came down to it. That INT he threw a few years back in the playoffs against the Eagles off his back foot just up in the air to nobody in particular was dumb. The '07 NFC championship INT in OT was just a rotten throw. I don't think Brett completely sucked though, mind you.

  • @2014cwajts71 Huh...loaded?? the '96 team had to claim Andre "Bad Moon" Risen off waivers....and their best OF lineman was Bad Body Wilkerson. Even you can throw on '96 cornerbacks. ROFL....

  • @2014cwajts71 Put Aaron on a Mike Sherman team and see how he performs.

  • @thoraz997 Hard to tell for sure. McCarthy is a much better coach Sherman though.

  • Where taking pictures of his dick and sending them to chicks happens.

  • Im gonna remember Favre for the product I saw on the field, not all the BS in the tabloids/press

  • Kickers don't even count

  • @theflyer68 blanda was also a quarter back

  • Where choking in big games happens

  • 0:33....i miss the old Brett Favre

  • at least he didn't choke in the super bowl *cough*Peyton Manning*cough cough*

I am dissapointed that he has choked in the playoffs but the reason I want him to stay is because he makes the game so much fun to watch, just that never knowing if hes going to run it, throw it underhanded, or even throw a pick.

Brett Favre is not overated though....334 ints / 20 years = 16.7, so about 17 ints per season, thats not the pretiest but its only a little above average.

    507 TD's / 20 years = 25.35

  • @Krazykid163 Ummm Umm Super Bowl 32 vs Denver. he has choked in every subsequent NFC championship he's played in, longevity does not equate with greatness

  • Brett Favre Where Bullshit Happens

  • Never seen a Bigger Choke Artist in the NFL Playoffs.

Never seen more SEASON ENDING Passes by a QB before.

    Unreal sometimes.

  • @gfscarface13 what about all the passes that kept his season going dumbass

  • @TheSeanr64 What about them?

Were they in the playoffs when it Counts? NOPE. Favre's legacy in the Playoffs is a Choker.

  • Notice how all of the images in this video are him as a Packer. That's how he'll be remembered Vikings fans. Now go cry on your pillows you used to cry on during your Super Bowl defeats.

  • Where retirement doesn't happen

  • @MAALLOW5, good one faggot...

  • Brett Favre

Where is Only good in the regular season happens

Where Choking in the Playoffs happens

    Where Throwing 16 Interceptions & 14 TD's 2001-2008 Playoffs Happens

Where Throwing an Interception in OT at Lambeau Field to lose the NFC Championship happens

Where changing your mind about retirement happens

Where Packers dont want you back cause you Choke Big Games happens

Where Text Messaging pictures of his naked body to Women outside of his Marriage happens, making his Wife sad Happens

  • @gfscarface13 Youtube, where angry children hate on people they will never become, happens.

    Shit

    Happens.

  • @gfscarface13: a player and star in his own rite once said, "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Favre was such a player. He took punishment with the rewards, but don't think for a moment that he failed in his career. No QB hold more major records than this player (super bowl wins being the exception, and you can blame the failure of the Packers to surround him with offensive talent for that) and that's saying something. Show some respect.

  • @theWall0719

I have respect for Favre, he's a Warrior on the field, has been for many years. Just saying the Truth about him. He's nothing but a STASTICAL REGULAR SEASON QB but when it comes to the playoffs in the Big Spots, LOL, its a Whole Different Favre and you cant blame his Supporting cast. Thats a Double Standard EXCUSE Favre apoligist say.

Supporting cast is Good enough to win the division & all of a sudden in the playoffs w/ the same team its not good enough to win a HOME!

  • coming from a true packer fan brett favre is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever step onto a football field. I hate him for being a trader, but there is no doubt he is a legend

  • best QB ever!

  • -Joe Montana bailed them out, if Tom Brady didn't set up the game winning field goals in the superbowls vs St Louis & Carolina, people would bring up the miscues of the superbowls, defense did this, Bill Belichick screwed up here, and on and on. Thats why there is where legends are born, in the Playoffs.

Example look at SuperBowl 22, if Bills Kicker Scott Norwood makes the field goal, would it matter that Bills defense played poorly in crunch time? NOPE, cause the bills won. Same here Buddy.

  • Brett Favre

Where is Only good in the regular season happens

Where Choking in the Playoffs happens

    Where Throwing 16 Interceptions & 14 TD's since 2001 Playoffs happens

Where Throwing an Interception in OT at Lambeau Field to lose the NFC Championship happens

Where changing your mind about retirement happens

Where Packers dont want you back cause you Choke Big Games happens

Where Brett Fans make Excuses why its Not Brett's Fault for Throwing Interceptions to lose Playoffs Games happens

  • @gfscarface13: I disagree with the making excuses part.. You can't make excuse for his INTS, but you also cannot act as though that all the happened. The '01 Rams game, 6 INTS, all his fault. The '03 Eagles game, 4th and 26, Favre was not on the field for that play. '04 Vikings, 4 INTS all his fault. '07 Giants in OT, I guess you can have that. Last year, no way. You can't fumble the ball 5 times in a NFC title game(including a 1st and Goal at the goal line) and expect to beat anybody.

  • It should never have gotten to the play to start with. Favre made the FINAL mistake in a game plagued with mistakes from BOTH teams. The INT was his fault because he threw it, but not losing the game.

But I do agree that he has been terrible in the post season throughout his career. In the regular season there is nobody better. In the playoffs, there is nobody worse. One thing is for certain, whether he is throwing epic TD passes or epic INTs, he is where amazing happens.

  • @xpander2k I understand and appreciate your comment, but who threw the Interception in philly? Brett did. No excuse for the defense colapse of 4th & 26, I still remember BUT However Brett Favre still had the ball in his hands with a chance to drive his team to victory in OT, thats where legends are born. Clutch QB's who help their team in need of Clutch, but instead Failed with that Reticulous High Punt throw that was picked off by Dawkins (I think it was him) & eagles kicked a field goal to win

  • @gfscarface13 : I guess breaking just about every record there is, being a 3-TIME MVP, and still playing at an MVP level at 40 years old is not legendary enough. Go figure.

If 4th and 26 is not converted, Packers win the game. Period. That's like blaming Aaron Rodgers for the Packers losing to the Cardinals because the first pass he threw was a pick and then he fumbled the game-winning touchdown away. He wasn't on the field when those 51 points were scored. The PACKERS lost, not Favre

  • ~ I can further add the Mike Sherman's decision to not kick the field goal and go for it on 4th and 1 was just as costly as 4th and 26, and the Favre pick. I had no problem with him going for it because Ahman Green was the best back in the league that year rushing for over 1,886 yards(2,300 total YFS), but wouldn't those 3 points have come in handy at the end of regulation? 4th and 26 would NEVER HAVE HAPPENED, nor the Favre pick. You got to take everything into account when analyzing.

  • @xpander2k Brett is a regular season legend, and thats it, not in the Playoffs when it counts.

Everything happens for a reason, you cant blame anybody but Favre for that high Punt throw vs Philly, terrible pass.

You can say all these things that happend before the INT vs philly but the bottom line is, favre threw the game away, not ahman.

  • @gfscarface13: The bottom line is that you hate Brett Favre and just want to bash him and the only way you can do that is by ignoring ALL the facts and just focusing on what HE did wrong. You can't even respond to what I actually said. I said Mike Sherman not going for the field goal proved costly, I said nothing negative about Ahman Green. I praised him for being the best back in the league that year. Can you read or am I making to big of an assumption? Maybe you can't read.

  • But, far be it for me to interrupt your blissful enchantment of a world where only what you choose believe is truth rather than what actually happened. You can go on ignoring all the mistakes the happened before Brett made his and blame him solely for the loss all you want. I guess that means it was Peyton Manning's fault the Colts lost the Super Bowl because of the Tracy Porter pick. Hey, it was LAST MISTAKE made in the game right? Isn't that what Brett did. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM???

  • Comment removed

  • @xpander2k You give up?

  • THE ONLY REASON WHY THE PACKERS STILL EXIST...HE MADE THEM INTO AN ELITE TEAM IN THE 90'S, THEY PROBABLY WOULDVE BECAME THE JAGUARS OR TEXANS...

  • no, there are kickers that have played longer

  • outside of kickers and punters, its probably a record yeah

  • George Blanda played 26 seasons.. as far as i know that is the current record for the longest NFL carreer

  • I hope he stays one more year! He got fucking cheated last season! But, we all know who should've won!

  • no its not, Jerry Rice passed 20 years I believe

  • Where amazing happened. its over now..

  • is a 20+ year football career like a record?

  • @jemar121 not sure... do some research!

  • @TexasBALLA94 nope i think vinnie has him beat

  • @jemar121 No longest carrer was probably 25-30 Kicker or Punter from Giants i think

  • @jemar121 hes got all the records. longest as a starter, most consecutive starts at QB position, most tds ints yards games all that. also 3 mvps to back it up

  • @jemar121 Nope a kicker has 25 years.

  • @jemar121 Yea

  • @jemar121

    Blanda played to his 50s.

  • @jemar121 for starting quarterbacks yes but kickers sometimes exceed that. no matter how much pounding his body gets he just keeps commin back for more lol

  • @jemar121 not yet

  • @jemar121 maybe for a qb but i think field goal kickers have the longest careers but thats because they dont get hit

  • @jemar121 Nah look up John carney like 24 years? and still plays hes a kicker

  • @jemar121

no QB/Place Kicker George Blanda played 26 seasons

Kicker Morton Anderson- 25 or 26 seasons

    Kicker Gary Anderson- 23 seasons

  • @jemar121 probably not since some kickers play for like 90 years.

  • @jemar121 Imagine if he had a son when he was 20 he could have possible played while his dad was playing lol

  • @91mfhashmi, it would have been really cool if that son played wide reciever, FAVRE TO FAVRE ALL DAY!!!

  • @91mfhashmi well, how old he is, still might happen haha age wont be same but he doesnt retire so he might play his son one day ^_^

  • @jemar121 no

  • @jemar121 No. Not even close

  • @jemar121 I think the record is 26 years if I remember correctly. Probably a kicker too, they always stay in the league for like 20 years, easy.

  • @UnknownImages You're half right. The Record is held by George Blanda. Quarterback/Kicker.

  • @jemar121 only like the 12th or 14th to ever play 20+ seasons

  • @jemar121 for non kickers/punters im sure

  • That fucking sucks

  • how long has he been playing QB for NFl now?

  • @jemar121 he was drafted in 1991 so he'll be entering his 20th season
