i don't wanna sound like a fuckin' dumbass or anything but why such a big leep from a 9mm round to a minigun with insinirater rounds or what it was called? (like duh... of course it will blow up)
couldn't they have tried something like an assault rifle or a S&W .357 or .44 or .686?
seems unnecessary to resort to M134 Minigun i believe?
In the movie "Tomorrow Never Dies" Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) loses his PPK (7.62) and gets "The new Walther" (Walther P99 which is 9mm.) and in Casino Royal, has the new CP99. (still a 9mm,)
That's right, this episode is for Casino Royale isn't it...
Well, I can be half right, at least it's not for any of the Timothy Dalton 007 films (he was the Bond that made Rodger Moore look great) Connery FTW! (oh, and Pierce Brosnan too)...
Timothy Dalton did an AWESOME job as Bond. What are you talking about? It's Roger Moore who screwed up like 6 James Bond movies, and made them into campy Scooby Doo adventures!
Timothy Dalton kicked ASS! Don't argue with me. I have every single JB movie to date (Including Never Say Never again) WITH all of the most in-debth special features and I've watched all of them at least three times each. I know my Bond.
The Living Daylights is (in my opinion) the worst Bond film ever made. I also own all of the movies, and watch them constantly, I'll argue this to my grave. Timothy Dalton sucks, and never should have been cast as my beloved James.
It's styled like the PPK 7.65 but caries the 380 rounds or a 9mm Kurz. It's a brilliant short range sidearm, you can pick one up for about $550. Get one, they're awesome.
Likely would not have the muzzle velocity to punch the needed hole in the tank. Yeah, a .50 has the size round, but its not fired with the same amount of powder, the mini gun should have a hell of a lot higher muzzle velocity than a pistol.

@ELxFNxHW They did, they went all the way up to a 30.06 with tracer rounds, and all they could get was a puncture and cold gas.

50 rounds a second?
What would that do if you shot a human with it?
It would be almost imposible to miss.

mattman1941 2 years ago
LOL, Bond didn't have a 9mm, he had a 380 Walter PPK.
Just thought I'd throw that one out there.

@iluvmyveedub Timothy Dalton should win an Oscar and beat Sean Connery over the HEAD WITH IT!!!
CoffeeStained 1 year ago
@CoffeeStained Sorry, but Dalton is a tool, he was a horrible Bond, Roger Moore did a better job than him.

@TrubbelXxX no its a .45

PPK is a 7.62 mm, and before he was issued that he carried a .25 Berreta.
HOW CAN YOU HAVE A 380 WALTHER PPK??!!?!?!!!
arandomperson3 2 years ago
It's the same model gun with a different caliber.
It's styled like the PPK 7.65 but caries the 380 rounds or a 9mm Kurz. It's a brilliant short range sidearm, you can pick one up for about $550. Get one, they're awesome.

@iluvmyveedub a .380 ACP is a 9x17mm whereas the average 9mm is a 9x19mm. The PPK was replaced by the P99 anyway in Tomorrow Never Dies.

It's not velocity that caused the explosion, it's the INCENDIARY rounds.
