my mom makes hers with real bread

and stuffs the turkey

I just had an "ah hah" moment...I learned to cook by osmosis as well....walking through the kitchen and hanging out in there while my mom cooked. I never consciously took note of measurements or what a certain recipe even contained, but I guess it stuck anyhow. Surprisingly, my food tastes like my mom’s as well and her best tasting dishes also happen to be my best tasting dishes.

I learned how to cook just like she did by osmosis in the kitchen with my dearly beloved mother. She would let me cut the vegetables. I could be better with a knife but classes at Williams-Sonoma next winter.
