i visit pokhara and nepal last year 2011 and it was amazing experience and one in life we must have to visit nepal the place of mt everest the place of buddha where he was born and the place of nature,,,, great country
@ sachit Nepal is a beautiful country but the reality is harsh. Nepal is dominated by hindu oligarchy, in all sectors , politics , administration, justice , enforcement. the ethnic groups and other castes have suffered under this system. an example is just some years ago Nepal was a Hindu kingdom, giving emphasis and recognition to only hindus (who are minority) wheres other religions and ethnic groups(who are majority) were discriminated and not recognised.
very nice display the Nepal Tourism Destination will able to visit and more interested to Make good holiday of Nepal Himalaya.. Everest Pioneer Trek Nepal..Pvt Ltd.
Nepal and its people have so much potentials. We have such a beautiful and diverse country despite its size. When will Nepali leaders understand the value of what we have and join hands towards collective growth to stop this massive brain drain from the country. I love my country, its serenity and its people. I hope and am optimistic about what future has in store for us.
I am an Indian and I love Nepal as much as I love India. Nepal is a heaven on earth but because of some people it's been a hell. Nepal has each and every resource which can make Nepal a great /peaceful country. Its tourism sector alone can feed all the Nepalis well and I don't see any reason why Nepal has to ask even for a penny from other nations if it can manage its tourism sector well. I will be very happy to see a Green/Clean and peaceful Nepal. Lets all make Nepal the Switzerland of Asia.
Whether or not that Nepal has poor roads, we have to admit that the beauty of the country is not just the place but just the people. Nepal is certainly the most amazing and beautiful place on earth
Though India is changing and emerging to be a better living place than Nepal due to the rise of middle class, India still lacks in many things. Their EGOISM is the biggest downfall which will pull them down against China so from the outsider point, Nepalese are far more better and more hospitable than the Indians who are ERROGANT and RUDE which will be the down fall if this follows in the next generation.
This is with regards to may comments below..... to what I see, there is a dispute between Nepalese and Indian..... which I think I should open my point with a view as an outsider as I am not a Nepalese or neither an Indian although I am an Indian origin born in another country (3rd generation) but was lucky and blessed to have a chance to work in each countries for more than 2 years and having said that, Nepal is far..far...far.. more better place to work and live than India.
dream country which i think to see once in lifetime . dosn't meter were there roads are good or not we've got good historical places there. thanks to tell all about nepal.
Nepal is a beautiful place now but not for much longer, your road building schemes will destroy everything, yo say you need the roads to service the needs of tourists but the thing is we come to do the treks to get away from cars. One side of the annapurna circuit is now destroyed now your going to destroy the other side.nobody wants to trek getting covered in dust from jeeps flying past your shooting yourselves in the foot and my heart goes out to the holy people around muktinath I pity them.
please don`t hate other..nepalese u can hate indian government but don`t hate indian and indian u stop talking rubbish about Nepal..make peace .we are from Nepal the place where lord buddha was born ..so we should follow his path until someone talk against our nationality..but after we should follow the path of great king prithivi narayan shah..``aaie lagne mathi jaie lagnu parchha``
I am born in Malaysia and there is a small Nepalese community in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's main city. I used to love going there because the Nepalese boys were so handsome. But of course people warned us with all the typical stereotypes about Nepalese men
Great video pictures and soundtrack. Reality for most people there is tough but when we go there it helps their economy and gives us a much needed culture/adventure break with our daily lives. I feel very lucky to be born as a nepali . I am also very excited that if everything falls into its place, i wil be able to visit nepal after 6 lonely years...eagerly waitin for that ..i also highly encourage tourists to visit nepal and gain that magical experience of a lifetime. i guarantee u wont regret...my nepal my pride...

Does anyone know the name of the album of the beautiful flute that is played in the beginning of this video? I would really love to promote this in my store. What a great flute music. Very meditative, just amazing!
The notion ''religion ,the way of life" is not accurate, I guess. Harmony and tolerance is our way of life and Religion is not that authentic source of Harmony and Tolerance always.

After watching the video, I felt myself to go back and enjoy the moments shown right here up in the video, but considering the political turmoil, load-shedding, unpredictable 'bandhs',pollution in the major cities, I'm little worried if we could really deliver what we promise. My suggestion to all tourist: getaway from the city area to mountains and ridge ASAP and then you'll see the real Nepal. Visit Pokhara, Chitwan and Sagarmatha for sure. Just don't get stuck in city areas, it's a mess.
@kiranchamling20 saathi yo pani nahune, loadshadding haru ta tapai hami jasto garib janta lai matra ho....natra Nepal ma jasto subida ta aru kaha po cha ra???
@dheer1231 u think we hate u coz we r jealous of u indians??? coz ur country is develop than ours???? if so we should be hating china..they are more develop then u..u r just an indian fellow who knows nothing about nepal or indo-nepal shit...there are lots of bihari indians selling panipuri.,chatpate and selling kawadi in the streets of nepal...
@yomamafool1 why would indians hate nepal? most indians like nepal. in fact, nepal and bhutan are our most trusted neighbours (free immigration, no visa required).

I was very sad to see Kathmandu last year. No electricity, no water, filth everywhere. It is very saddening to see nature's paradise getting ruined by mismanagement, corrupt governance, and political instability. Although I am a Nepali and proud to be one, I feel sorry for tourists about the mismanagement. To those who are going to give thumbs down, have you been to Swyambhu? It is a open toilet and open garbage container now. Lets start cleaning our streets first before asking tourists to come.
yeee m comin nepal in 8 dayss. been really long time, finally after 8 yrs. woooh! My country, myy pride & my&every single nepali's peoplee Nepal. this @ TaMaGuRaLi need to stop wateva he/she saying, man, this stupid is cursing at our country. Stupid, if u want to say shit, then just say it to yourself. you dnt have to flash out public like this.. This video is for whole world. not for your racist word. Dont involve this video on politics, u stupid! Peace! Prride & Proud, Always Nepali.
ALL THE PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD------------YOU ARE MOST WELCOME TO VISIT OUR NATURALLY AND CULTURALLY MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD...............WE ASSURE YOU THAT YOU WILL LIKE TO COME BACK TIME AND AGAIN..........YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH NEPAL
@rock619099 no offence but why would people come to nepal to tour when they can tour in more developed and entertaining countries like france and italy.
i gone to nepal and everyday 7 hours no electric power so go stay in better hotel or no fan or aircond for u but i have a lot of fun there and they are not a poor country
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

thumbs up for "channel nicky" who though is not the official personnel of tourism year project of 2011 but has given its personal effort to make it happen.................
Racism is all over the planet....what is the big deal here? All the people are known or identified with color and creed. Human natural instict is to protect their own interests. That is what happening in this planet which is called racist and it is true...
Senate of Nepal has seats for all the races and all the representation.. KNOW whats going on in Nepal before speaking you freaks... Go and read newspaper and watch news of Nepal instead of wasting your time here...
Touched my heart, true landscapes, religions, tribes and their culture, hospitality everything, so amazing. Just waiting only for peace and end of dirty political instability.
talking with you guys is just a waste of time this video is to promote Nepal not to show it's bad side..see the nature and go beyond racism rather think about humanism.
Looks to me like VISIT Kathmandu rather than Nepal, People need to open their eyes that Nepal is not just Kathmandu. That's what the Terai identity crisis is all about.
Simple theory if no identity should not be part of that country.
@Jhaiowa yeah you right. But in Nepal, the Brahmin-Chettri governemnt always promote Nepal Tourism Year whenever they feel like earning big bucks in short notice. We had a major Visit Nepal '98. As soon as they pocket a big quick buck from this promotion, these Brahmin-Chettri govenment will then goes back to usual way of doing governmental work in Nepal, i.e corruption and neoptism.
Enough is Enough. It's time that we have to voice out this illegal practice by Brahmin-Chettri government.
..Thukkkkaaa mulaa sabai jana!thukkaa thukkaa.those who dislike beiing nepali or criticized your own countryy or comment rubbish like religion politics bla bla abt nepal!salute~~~ coz yu r a real asshole!big head faggot n those who say proud 2 b nepali n argue back with al those crap jackass..yu guys r the most stupid hippo in ths world.cum on ppl.wat hav yu ppl done for nepal?bullshit guys..COME to the topic abt the videoo! n write abt it !! none of yu ppl need to luv yur country nor talk bad..
i totally agree with @PRABHU505. idk why these guys are commenting these rubbish instead of promoting the video and the tourism year these nonsense are making the video polluted ..if they want to talk about politics or about kirat or about racism i don't think this is the right place .....
The native Kirat should banned people from climbing Mt. Everest. Kirat consider Chomolongma(Everest) as the abode of their ancestors and Kirateswor(lord of Kiratas - Paruhang & Sumnima). Mountaineers have destroy the eco-system around the Everest region. The fees collected by the Nepali government has also not seen the development of Everest region either. Where is the money? Simple the Brahmin-Chettri politicians used this money to make big house, send their children to overseas.
As a foreigner living for the past 20 years in Nepal, I am interested in the reaction of tourists about the discrimination in entrance fares to the different tourist spots in Kathmandu. I am married with Nepali and have two children. Today in Godavari, my wife had to pay 10Rs, one of my children, looking as a Nepali 5 Rs, the other who has blond hair 30 Rs ??? and me with a non-tourist, marriage visa 100 Rs. How do you want me to promote Nepal 2011.
@nicosmeets i understand your feelings. But the TRUTH is Nepal is very RACIST country. You said you been in Nepal for 20 years. So have you not noticed or understand that 99% of government seats and other administrative position in Nepal is form by 2 group-- Brahmin and Chettri community. Now this has been going on since the founding of modern Nepal by P.N Shah in the late 17th century. These 2 group are strict Hindus and they follow and practiced caste system. The laws are made by them.
@TaMaGuRaLi what the fuck is wrong with you......If you are intelligent and wise, then you can survive in Nepal. You need a brain to survive here and if you have good education (from good instiution or India), then its fine... I am born and living in Nepal for last 18 years.. I LOVE my Nepal.... Dont you fucking say its racist.
@cokecoke61 no bro i am not being racist. I am telling the truth. Plz go and read Muliki Ain(national code) of Nepal. My community, Tamang was classified as "masine"(slaveable) along with the rest of the other group except (Rai,Limbu, Gurung, Magar). My Tamang people was not allowed to join the British army in the late 18th century and early 19th century except to become porter for the Hindu government. Also Buddha was born in Nepal but why was Buddhism not declared National religion of Nepal?
Heaven country.....falling down....coz we r pulling it down.... We means...we all....everysingle.....people.....

Racism is all over the planet....what is the big deal here? All the people are known or identified with color and creed. Human natural instict is to protect their own interests. That is what happening in this planet which is called racist and it is true...

Looks to me like VISIT Kathmandu rather than Nepal, People need to open their eyes that Nepal is not just Kathmandu. That's what the Terai identity crisis is all about.
Simple theory if no identity should not be part of that country.
Jhaiowa 1 year ago
@Jhaiowa yeah you right. But in Nepal, the Brahmin-Chettri governemnt always promote Nepal Tourism Year whenever they feel like earning big bucks in short notice. We had a major Visit Nepal '98. As soon as they pocket a big quick buck from this promotion, these Brahmin-Chettri govenment will then goes back to usual way of doing governmental work in Nepal, i.e corruption and neoptism.
Enough is Enough. It's time that we have to voice out this illegal practice by Brahmin-Chettri government.

PRABHU505 1 year ago
i totally agree with @PRABHU505. idk why these guys are commenting these rubbish instead of promoting the video and the tourism year these nonsense are making the video polluted ..if they want to talk about politics or about kirat or about racism i don't think this is the right place .....
neupanemil 1 year ago
@neupanemil,
The native Kirat should banned people from climbing Mt.

How do you want me to promote Nepal 2011.
nicosmeets 1 year ago
@nicosmeets well, its embarrassing but i guess ppl shud be taught better and start things from grassroot level! nothing is managed in there :(
intuition666 1 year ago
@nicosmeets i understand your feelings. But the TRUTH is Nepal is very RACIST country. You said you been in Nepal for 20 years. So have you not noticed or understand that 99% of government seats and other administrative position in Nepal is form by 2 group-- Brahmin and Chettri community. Now this has been going on since the founding of modern Nepal by P.N Shah in the late 17th century. These 2 group are strict Hindus and they follow and practiced caste system. The laws are made by them.

rajanharamme 1 year ago
@TaMaGuRaLi what the fuck is wrong with you......If you are intelligent and wise, then you can survive in Nepal. You need a brain to survive here and if you have good education (from good instiution or India), then its fine... I am born and living in Nepal for last 18 years.. I LOVE my Nepal.... Dont you fucking say its racist.
cokecoke61 1 year ago
@cokecoke61 no bro i am not being racist. I am telling the truth. Plz go and read Muliki Ain(national code) of Nepal. My community, Tamang was classified as "masine"(slaveable) along with the rest of the other group except (Rai,Limbu, Gurung, Magar). My Tamang people was not allowed to join the British army in the late 18th century and early 19th century except to become porter for the Hindu government. Also Buddha was born in Nepal but why was Buddhism not declared National religion of Nepal?
